First, have a happy birthday Mr. James Earl Jones! Better known by most as the voice and figure of Darth Vader.

Seriously, the man is awesome just for his voice. He can make something mundane as the English alphabet interesting and awesome. I want the guy delivering my eulogy if he lives long enough. Or something else important pertaining to me. But I would love to have him do it. Just to have his voice be giving it. I demand his throat be preserved after he dies.

Alright, maybe the throat preservation is a bit much, but I still want the rest.

Second, I watched a play of The Wizard Of Oz tonight. It was a lot better than I thought. Also revealed to me that I love minor characters. For example;

Nico, A.K.A. captain of the flying monkeys. I hate the guy who played him, but he pulled off the role so brilliantly, he made the fellow hilarious.

The various Winkie's. It may be they made them cliche French stereotypes all the way to the beret, but I enjoyed these guys.

Toto. Without Toto the plot makes absolutely no sense, he's really a hugely underrated character, probably mainly because the actor in the movie was a real dog.
