Hilarious Sisterhood... Cont'd

<daydreamer>

To continue the funny business between my sisters and me. (Thanks to BCii who pointed out the grammar errors.)

Well...

When did this madness start?

Ever since I called my elder sister 'jie jie' (as you should know, means elder sister in Chinese. Reminds you of The Letter, eh?) and my little sister called my elder sister and me 'jie' and 'jie jie' respectively. We both took a while to solve this code, and Lil Sis had to blurt it out at our blank faces to get it across.

I don't even know if I got it right.

Anywho!

I guess it got even better during the spits and fits. It was Lil Sis versus Elder Sis more often than not, with me as the honorary interceptor. That was quite a while ago.

Right now, if I may put a rather observant perspective into this, I see that they still have their conflicting viewpoints but are much much more tolerant of each other to the point of a very good friendship. Still, Elder complains of some of the Younger's habits, and Younger complains of Elder's nagging attitude.

Trust the eldest to be nagging, and trust the youngest to be rebellious.

As the second, I'm stuck neatly in the middle. I was the interceptor, as I said, but was also the listening ear to both parties. It was no easy deal to make, to have my sister complain of the other. I just listened, agreeing in some points, tried to make some peace offering but it never lasted long.

Then again, I had my quarrels too. My elder sister and I had spats, but it was my sister doing the yelling and me doing 'quiet complaning' to my mother.

Fast forward to now.

We don't quarrel at all. Instead we share tickles, jokes and all sorts of funny moments. Lil Sis cracked that corn hid in corners. Jie jie laughed, despite her being in her exam period (promotion exams) and Lil Sis in her own exam period too.

I oughta keep them cheery and help them study.

Asking them to help me play VNOLG isn't a good way to do that.

Ah yes...the mediator. The diplomat. The gravy.

Wait...gravy?

Ah, yes...the gravy...

"We don't quarrel at all."

Reminds me of how my brother and I are now. In the year leading up to his going off to the Academy (this past year) we were probably never upset with each other for more than a few minutes...because we knew how pointless it was.

It grew more and more until it came to a point where moments after we said something we shouldn't have - out came the request for forgiveness.

I guess that's...that's...maturity! *Nooo!*

I need to go procrastinate on homework then to stop this terrible process.

Heh, don't procrastinate, Motago! It'll do you no good.

Instead, eat ice cream and be happy! And it's great to hear that you have a good brotherhood bond with your brother.
