Nothing To Blog About

Well, I mean, I have a ton of stuff I could blog about, but at the same time--oh, wait, I have a list of things to blog about. And I think there's a drafted entry a few pages back. I should go check on that or else it'll end up like the other drafted entry I forgot about. That was about my favorite types of music, but I never completed it, so it just drifted away...(and maybe if Shine is reading this he might actually know where it is... :P )

So, there's that *dance* coming up at school. I've pretty much figured out a few options to skipping that and still doing stuff with friends so I'm not in my room alone when I knew I could have been with my friends literally a two minute walk away having fun:

1) My guy friends who also are not going and I all go see a movie. I'd love to see Push, but I thought they would rather see Outlander, which also looks awesome, but when I showed them the trailer they were not as impressed with it as I was. And I thought olde (notice the spelling) stuff was right up their alley. So if we still do a movie it might be something I don't want to see so then I'm back to, as was the problem in the first place, staying in my room while I know my friends are out having fun. (I forgot exactly what they wanted to see instead, but I don't think I was too interested. Maybe Gran Torino, which I keep hearing is awesome, but at the same time it's just not my type--maybe.)

2) So that said, or not said, I'll need a date to the dance (because going stag sucks). I've deduced it down to a good friend, but I don't know. I don't even know if she's going, which would just make it worse if we both had nothing to do and could have done or whatnot. I'd probably have to IM her roommate first to find out if she had any plans, friends to go with, etc, before even thinking about making a move. (And yes, it'd be "just friends," but it still makes things awkward.) So to save myself, yet not really, I just don't want to worry about it. But that's me running away from a problem. (Not that the guy's night out wasn't, but at least that was justified.)

3) The Catholic Campus Ministries wants to send a campus minister to the Diocese place to have dinner, Mass, and a cool chat with the Bishop about CCM activities. That'd be cool, since I'm not a part of the Richmond Diocese except here at school, and it'd be nice to meet the Bishop and see other CCM ministers as well. Granted, I'm not a minister, but the minister might not be able to make it (because he has dance plans). I am, however, on staff, and, despite my noob status, might be a candidate if I stepped up. I just don't have a car, so that probably rules out this option. (Ironically, that girl might be interested in going to this, which again leaves me to hanging out in my room alone.)

On a down note, I woke up at 8:20 this morning. My first class is at 8:00. On an up note, my friend burned me the Paramore Riot! CD. Yayz! On a down note, for some reason, "Misery Business" was copied twice, in a row. That'll make it interesting when listening to it in the CD player. (It wouldn't be a big deal except that it was burned on a cool red CD, so simply burning another one makes me sad to waste it. I could, I guess, give it to my brother, but that might be a tad mean? :sly:

OK, emotion dump. Done, thank you, I feel remotely better, except I still have no direction. Not that I expect any useful comments on either of these nor are you required to give any. Because by now I should be able to handle girls and my wake up schedule. (Which means I should get off now and go to bed soon. Except I have to go get notes from that girl soon because I missed our English class.)
