One of my original musical works.

 

Trapped in this lonely world

Not a soul to be found

The weight of my emotions

Crushing my heart

I wonder if there's gonna be a way out

A way out of this madness

A way out of this pain

Is it to be death or something more?

I do not know the answer

So I search

Search

Search

And then I find

Find myself

Buried deep beneath layers of weight

He is bright and bubbly and so much more

A true polar opposite

Is this me?

I wonder so much

So much I've been driven insane

I wonder if I can be this person

So I leave

Leave to find myself

In the deep blue

 

Anybody have tips on instrumentation? I already have it set to a low acoustic guitar similar to the one on Working Class Hero. More things are welcome.

Try a fingerpicking pattern similar to that of Lennon's Julia or Elton John's Love Song. I think one would fit this nicely.

 

And If you'd like an electric guitar not plugged in could play soft chords in the background.
