I don't have the luxery of a car, though, so no experience with the second. (How can you snap a key?)

Whoof. Do you have to get a locksmith now? I think all they can do is merely get the car "open"... not make a key.

Then again, as long as they get it's remnant halves, it could be done.

Not fun at all. But I really don't know why the key decided to snap. I have to shimmy the lock a little bit, but I wasn't trying to hard...I rotate to the right and *snap*. I just stood there bewildered.

I'm going to try and pry the rest of the key out, but I don't thing I'll be successful. I think it broke off too far down the key to be able to get a good grip on it to pull it out. If that fails, then yes, I'll get a locksmith. I tried on my way to class, and I can actually still open my car if I stick the rest of my key in, I just can't start the ignition.

But hopefully my parents will get the spare key down to me as soon as possible. I have to work tomorrow...

Stop ruining the romantic expectations I have of college. >.<
