Gone For The Weekend~

I'm leaving tonight to go on a weekend retreat with one of my best friends. :3 So I probably won't post on my blog until Monday. (:

 

On the other hand, I just took some really I mean REALLY healthy muffins out of the oven and am about to go eat one. : D

 

They have bananas, applesauce, 1/4 c. sugar, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, oats, nuts, and some other stuff, I don't remember. They smell great and they taste good for healthy muffins (with all that whole wheat etc. But they're still yummy)

 

I'm trying to eat/cook a bit healthier, so that as I get older I can stay fit (and I'm running and excercising too, just 'cuz it's cool. lol) My family thinks I'm insane because I'm already so skinny, but I'm not trying to lose weight, just stay healthy. lol. :3 Besides I actually really really like healthy foods. x3

That healthy stuff is all fluff in my opinion.

I believe that as long as people stay away from processed foods and don't go overboard with the bad oils they'll be fine.

Although oats and nuts in muffins are pretty yummy.

But I've never actually tried any baking that had apple sauce replacing fat or used whole wheat flour.

haha EVOO is awesomeness, it's pretty much the only oil I cook with

recently I also learned that unless an oil is cold pressed (extra virgin) then it is chemically produced with all these dangerous gross things like hexane

Yeah I was lucky to know that from an early start, so whenever I'm not there and my mom is buying it, she always checks to see that its First Cold Pressed and Extra Virgin... we usually get the Sicilian ones, really good fruity taste!
