'Cuz my school has this program that lets do us winter sports during friday afternoons, I went snowboarding today...

Soooo I was doing a Double Black Diamond for the first time evah, and since the trail was new to me, what I had assumed to be a somewhat steep slope had actually been a six foot high rocky cliff and I realize this and stop at the last possible second. I had no idea how high the cliff was, and I was trying to figure out a way get passed it without... ya know... dying. Didn't exactly help since the person on the chair-lift was all like "Don't do it! Hang on! I'll ski portal!" So I"m there, considering taking off my snowboard, letting it fall of the cliff, standing up and walking around to retrieve it, but I was worried that leaning down to remove the bindings would be enough to throw me off he edge. Luckily enough, my instructor comes around soon enough and helps me get about a foot, and then tells me to 'board slowly around the edge. I did that and wound up falling down the cliff anyways and landing on my butt.

Which feels more awesome than it sounds. Trust me. =D
