Unfortunately I don't have any more pics; my camera's batteries needed to be recharged.

Just wait until I take a picture of it without the stock (which, BTW, is a large Lego Technic cloak stretched over a framework).

I'm pretty happy with the way this came out. I wanted everyone to know when they saw it that it was a model of a real gun, and it passed the two year old test. When a two year old kid was asked what it was, he said 'It's a gun.' The perfect reaction.

He also said, 'Can I play with that gun?' Uh, sorry, no. XD

Sheer win. I doubt I've ever seen such a mechanical replica of the Kalashnikov using Bionicle pieces.

 

That, and the AK-47 is one of the most awesome weapons ever. I'd get one if they weren't so cliche and synonymous among terrorists and mercenaries. Though it'd certainly make a decent weapon for traveling around the countryside...

 

Anyway, I'll have to congratulate you for your efforts; this is a well constructed, and stylized replica of the weapon. Only error I can find is that the cylinder for redirecting the gas back into the bolt seems to be under the barrel(or what I interpret to be one), instead of above it. Still, it's a decent MoC, and I hope you at least make it to the honourable mentions.
