What happened was, the people at the Pokemon board meeting saw the word 'form' and thought 'well, it's okay, but it needs moar letter E'.

...They've been using that alternate spelling since 2004. If it was a mistake, I'm sure they'd have picked it up by now. Obviously they didn't, so it stays. Personally, I like it. :uhuh:
