In 2010 I'm going to be going to the National Scout Jamboree. I'm also going to be touring Washington DC. Last weekend I met with the people who I am going to be going with. I'm one of the oldest people in my troop (the group of people I am going with). I think I'm going to run for Senior Patrol Leader but I have until the middle of April to decide.

 

I'm also going to try to get into the Order of the Arrow next time my troop has OA elections. I've been putting that off for too long and really should have tried to get in when I was first eligible.

We have OA Service Weekend this weekend where I will be attaining Brotherhood. After over four years [of being inactive, sure], finally! XD

 

Jamboree is one of the biggest things any Scout could ever see. I had the privilege to go to the 21st Word Scout Jamboree in '07 and applied for 3rd ASM in one of my council's troops. Really looking forward to it. My normal troop SM was 1st ASM in a troop back at Jambo '05, but one can tell that his words do not do the event justice. I'm soooo excited to go to this Jambo. =D There's few things better than being there for the 100th anniversaries of Scouting as a whole and Boy Scouting in America. ^^
