*is Tired*

I worked outside in the yard for 6.5 hours today...

My legs feel completely drained of energy, but I feel very good about all I got done! ^_^

Mowing, weed-eating (edge trimming), and hauling cut up wood (we had a huge tree fall in our yard)

Now to work on my robot a little bit...

Please send me mind waves of inspiration! I'm having a bit of trouble with the torso. >_<

But give it waist articulation, or you'll be disqualified, kk?

No you won't. It's not required, only highly recommended. Even asked twice about it in the topic.

If all else fails, customize a Phankuta torso.

Use System for either armour or interior working, NOT both. Make sure to use, say, only one color for the armour pieces and something contrasting for the interior. Simply slapping Bionicle pieces together won't give it the sense of layering that makes it robot-like. Also Bionicle stuff is better for internals, it's got too many little details in each part to make a surface that looks armoured.

Oh. I really need to read stuff more carefully. ><

And Cags, that's an absolute last resort. ABSOLUTE LAST.

Erm...

Sorry to disappoint ya Cags, but I've got a double Phantoka torso going here... :guilty:

Personally though, I like the result. ^_^

Sadly, one of my weakest areas of MoCing is large custom torsos (one thing which you have a great gift for)

We'll just have to see how it turns out, okie dokie? :)

As to the color layering and making it look "robotic" and all, I haven't seen that many robot movies, so I'm at a bit of a disadvantage. The coloring thing I might be able to do a bit of, but we'll see...
