I don't get the hype over the Swine Flue. It's a flue people, and it'll have a shot come out in a few months.

Despite what the media says, the current regular flu shot helps just as much. It's not like people have never had it before, it's kinda like freaking out over the "regular" flu in flu season. And only one person within the U.S actually died, and that was a young baby who was brought in from Mexico anyway, and babies have far weaker immune systems in the first place so it doesn't prove much.

And every flu has the potential to be fatal, just depends on when/how you get treated for it.

There was a worse disease a few weeks ago here in Colorado, came from fruits and vegetables actually.

Yeah, I've been ranting all day about how it ISN'T A BIG DEAL.

Our science teacher flipped out about how much it was being exaggerated, it was hilarious to listen to.

My english/LA teacher was actually defending the media today, even when I pointed out they were overexaggerating everything related to it...

Then she and everyone else were acting like they knew everything there is to know about it...
