I am feeling weirdly nostalgic about Colorado. I haven't been there in like 9 years, even though that's where I define myself "growing up." (Growing responsible... I've done that over here in the Pacific Northwest for almost the last decade) I remember a whole bunch of the cool natural features of where I used to live, but you don't really appreciate that kind of stuff as a kid. I wanna go back as an adult and re see all the stuff from my childhood. Even if it's a little disappointing. (Like I heard the people who bought our old house chopped down all the trees around it.)

I tried to talk my family into a road trip after my senior year in high school, but that fell through. But now I'm a college student... and we're prone to road trips every once and a while, right? Maybe for next spring... I just need to find enough people who'd want to go, and an inexpensive way to get there.

Or I can think about it for a few days and then forget the whole thing.
