I couldn't help myself

Not you, I was having some fun on another forum and some loser didn't agree with me and told me he knew where I live. he said called my mom and dad and told them I was being mean to people on the Internet.

I can't laugh now that I know people are this stupid.

Wait what, did he actually do it?

Nothing, thats the part that made me sad.

Getting a call from a sucker on the internet would be awesome.

The ones who say they'll call never do, IME. The quiet ones will, and you'll hate it when your parents find out the sites you've been browsing.

I disabled web history a loooong time ago

Also various stealthy FF add-ons

Meh you don't need any add-ons, just CCleaner.

Physical defenses are the best, though. Hurrah for doors with locks.

You guys know that routers store everything, even if you clear your history. So you can't get away from it.

...Unless my dad was just trying to scare me.

Depends on the router. Ours only stores a short list of sites that've been blocked, i.e. anything accessed when the internet for a particular computer is off. It's not too hard too get into and clear, lots of people don't even know how to access it and thus it usually still has the default password. Do a little research on router passwords and default gateways.

Mine just saves a short list and with five computers I don't think I have anything to worry about.
