cags//cunninghat/2x2b Posted June 11, 2009 I SEE A COMPLETELY CIRCULAR CIRCLE That environment looks huge. BtB 36-sided ring=/=circle. It really isn't, only ~540 feet from one side to the other, counting from the furthest-apart points on each ring. Maybe a viewport screen will make more sense. Quote
Torhuki Posted June 11, 2009 The first picture reminds me of LotR. Is this actually going to be an environment you can move about in inside a game, or is this just for looks? Tor Quote

Tor If my .obj exporter would stop going gett'se-up on the file when I try to get it into gmax for .jms compiling, then it's going into Halo. Until then... =[ Quote
cags//cunninghat/2x2b Posted June 11, 2009 PlayUp's been failing for me. What's this new one you're using? Playup doesn't export to Halo. I'm just exporting it as .obj because it's one of the few formats that I could find a Gmax importer plugin and a Sketchup exporter for. From Gmax I can get it into Halo with Bluestreak, but it tends to have a carptillion open edge errors, and I suck too much with Gmax to be able to fix them. Quote
Bundalings Posted June 12, 2009 36-sided ring=/=circle. Looks like a circle. (Except when I zoom in, then it looks pretty much like a circle, rather than absolutely like a circle...) BtB Quote
