I can't wait to watch Transformers 2! I know it's released, but I finally have the tickets - my dad won them, but didn't want to watch it with walk-in tickets. He wanted to book us all down. Good thing he knew a Transformers fan living in the same house as he did.

I'm doing sound for a production called Short + Sweet, an international playwright competition of 10 minutes a play, and I'm helping the Singapore leg of this competition. The stage manager for this event is my little sister's best friend, studying in the arts college and in desperate need of help. So I came in for the week.

It almost escalated into a month. I was supposed to end today, but the second sound engineer bailed out at the last minute. I'm taking over his week. Then the director liked me so much that she wanted me to stay for the whole month - and when the original sound engineer bailed out to become a photographer, betraying us all. I needed my time back, though, to prepare for Berklee and relax after 3 months of yelling at kids.

And as the theatre scene would know, the crew are the most hard-working and the least recognized element of any production. But, we don't mind. It's a fun experience.

Now I'm writing to the US Customs Immigrations. They mis-spelt my school name on my visa, from Berklee College of 'Music' to 'MISIC'. You can't guess how angry I was when I had to go through the troublesome security checks at the US embassy 4 times, and one time running to the embassy to find it closed for administration stuff - to have the guy behind the window tell me that everything's fine, nothing's wrong, when they sent me the reply email to come down and get it fixed!
