In my last blog entry, I put emphasis on underlining, although I also mentioned that I took notes. Likewise, I also find notes important. Even more important than underlining key points. When you write notes, you are putting your own thoughts down.
Often when we write notes, we write them in the middle of class when the teacher says we should. We jot a key point here and there. In the end, it looks sloppy, partially because you wrote stuff down as they came. After class, take your notes and rewrite them in a way that makes more sense. You could also even think back to your time in class and journal the experience. Thinking like this gives you something that is much easier to study and it helps you to learn faster.
