Well, considering that it's got a smidgeon of black already, they don't look out of place. In fact, they look pretty sweet and fit in there well.

Honestly, this will be a pretty awesome entry, and some good competition. I look forward to seeing it finished.

In case you didn't notice somehow, all the other black pieces are either underneath yellow or blue pieces, or give the illusion of being so.

The tires mess up the layering, and texture-wise, there's nothing else similar on the MOC, so they look extraordinarily out of place.

Those upper legs aren't so good either. But the rest looks pretty good, and that colourscheme is rather tasty. =3

Maybe he plans on equalizing the design with visible black on the arms.

Which would not be a good idea, unless all the "internal" black stuff was shifted to external.
