Weight Training

Disky

We had our first actual period of PE class today, and we're starting the semester with weight training. I did some chin thingies (chin pulls? chin presses? chin ups? I dunno o.O), three sets of ten. And then I did some leg presses, a set of twenty.

After that, in Global History and Italian I had to carry textbooks form the offices and distribute them. Extra heavy work. =D

After that I rode home with four friends (three from my school, one from another school), and we had to carry our textbooks home. Together with my heavy bag. More workout.

So yeah today was a heavy day.

Working out is great, once you get a routine down and can stay motivated. PE class is perfect for both of those!

I always feel much better and relaxed (tired) after a good session with the free weight and bench.

I wish I went with weight class for P.E, but I went with Team Sports [More cuz I can't work well on a team anymore and thought that I should actually get in a class that revolves around teamwork and effort XP]. However, I do weightlifting/cardio shtuff every other weekday, and Saturday and after that I always feel good.

I only have one actual textbook though, and that's for French. All the others exist, but we barely ever touch them [besides in English, cuz it has all the stories].

I currently have a book for every class except Orchestra and Gym. I also have a binder for them, too. Feels like my backpack is full of bricks. =D

The heavy kind, mind you. Not the ones with studs. I'd love to have a backpack full LEGO bricks. =P

I think we called them pull ups, just get your chin above the bar. I vaguely remember being able to do three in middle school. Books can be killer on you. Carrying them around all day and then home is never fun...
