Pics And Results Of Car Show

The car show went great today. A total of 106 cars showed up, about 95% of which were Mustangs. A lot of cars I never thought of showed up. The Eleanor GT500 from "Gone In 60 Seconds" showed up, and some rare cars showed up too.

Today went completely better than I thought it would. I made some new friends. I got some new admirers of my Mustang now. :P

If you didn't read my last post on my other blog, I said that the judges grouped our cars in classes. For example, my class was the '05-'09 Mustang GTs.

Now for the list of pics from the show.

Powered by Ford.

Side-angle view of my car

-Just as a side note, the dash trim is Carbon Fiber. The light reflecting off of it made it look like the stock aluminum trim.

Hi guys. Oh.. Quarter window displaying 2 of my current after-market parts.

Rear-side view of my car

This was the car of the guy who told me about the Red River Classic Mustang Club who got me in the car show

A few Mustangs

A few more Mustangs

A lot more Mustangs

An '80s Mustang drag race engine. The car was loaded with Nos and a parachute, which means his car moved so fast, his brakes cannot stop the car at full speed on the drag strip.

A very rare Shelby

A '60s Mustang beastly engine.

The same GT500 from the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds."

I won FIRST PLACE in my Class!!!!

My new Black Widow Hood!!!! This is not the exact hood, but it's the closest pic I could find.

One of my buddies said he needed to sell the hood. He gave me a pretty darn good deal: $100. All I need to do is find the ram air kit for it.

I LOVE CAR SHOWS!!

Now who said I was going to sell the hood? It's kinda grown on me, particularly because it was a freakishly good deal. I'm already going to ask for an estimate to do everything to get it on my car later this week.

Average price of that hood is aroun $440, so I got it for less than 1/4 of its actual price.

A good deal is a good deal.

I misread that as you gave him a good deal. >.< Which was why I was confused, as $100 seems to be a little cheap.

But, good. That hood is just too awesome to give away. ^^
