Rummage Sales

Mysterious Minifig

So today I went to a couple of rummage sales. Actually only one was a rummage sale, the second was a moving sale.

Anyway, the rummage sale was put on by my church. They usually have two a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. At first I didn't find anything too terribly interesting. They didn't have any LEGO, that's usually the first thing I check for at any sales. After that I went to look at the pictures and picture frames. I'm alway looking for cheap pictures, either actually paintings or prints, to hang in my room. Digging around there weren't interesting pictures. I was also looking for a frame so I could hang up my confirmation picture.

Picking up one frame I discovered another frame with an interesting document. It turns out that someone donated to the sale a frame with an old Boy Scout Charter in it. It had the date 1988 on it so it's not to terribly old, but it's still older then me. The pack it was for I think is still in existance, the council web site has the pack listed but it only has a person with their phone number listed.

The moving sale I went to there was a lot of interesting stuff. I found a small box of LEGO that looked pretty old. I'm going to have to clean it but it's still pretty cool. I also got a small photograph of three loons that was professionally framed.
