Well, I'm sure if we had more story contests, you'd win a few more. I mean, we're on Epic Contest #5, Short Story Contest #3, while they're on BBC Contest #97... or something like that.

Anyway, I enjoyed your story, and congrads on your win. My own reaction wasn't too much different from yours.

Ah well, that means I gotta keep improving. At least I know that I'm somewhere, and not nowhere.

And, besides, Short Stories aren't as popular as BBCs, unfortunately. If it was the other way, Bionicle would've been totally in text! All books, no sets... imagine that.

I advertise BZPower all the time to customers at my store when they're picking up the Bionicle books. It's a great way for young kids to flex their muscles on the Internet and locate other people who have just as much a love for the toyline as they do -- and to let it grow!

I, personally, see nothing wrong with boasting to your buddies that you won a contest here on BZPower. Granted, likely not many people know about it outside those fans of LEGO and Bionicle, but I personally see no harm in telling people about it.

In any event, you say people laughed when you squeaked? Hey, you already told people apparently.
