It's at times like this, when I've got a chemistry lab report, a script draft for drama, four pages of Spanish homework, two college application essays, and various smaller answers and thank you notes to write, all before week's end, not to mention two jobs and a play to be getting on with, that I am reminded of a quote I committed to memory while having nothing better to do during the SAT than read all the quotes on the wall of the classroom I was in.

The mind that is not baffled is not employed.

The impeded stream is the one that sings.

Right now, I'm thinking a heavy metal thing with lots of screaming. Mmhm...
