I was going to be all "republish the contest voting poll blog entry" but that'd be too easy. (Deadline tomorrow afternoon.)

 

Well, no it would not, and I was about to, but then something more important came to my attention.

 

And in fact, I've known about this for a week or so, but still, now I have a good image.

And yes, it was necessary to put "LEGO" in all caps in the title. I have really seemed to have made it a habit, the all caps.

I can only see this being better when used with that one piece... yeah, that one piece... you know the one... the hinge with two stud slots on the bottom and four on the top...

I see it as a purely set-stability based decision by LEGO that's a slap in the face to MOCists. :(

I find it ridiculously difficult to use this windshield on stuff to begin with. I doubt this change will help, although it won't do any harm for me anyway. I can see how it can be a pain for MOCists who know what they're doing with that sort of piece.
