Thankful Claus Is Coming To Town!

Let me tell you about a tradition that my family's had for about the last 6 hours or so.

 

Every Thanksgiving, Thankful Claus comes to everyone's houses in the middle of the night and gives them what they already have.

Not only that, but sometimes, if little boys and girls aren't thankful enough for their toys, he'll take them away, and give them to Santa Claus to give to a little boy or girl who'll be more grateful for it than you were you little brat! If you're lucky, Santa'll give it back to you on Christmas.

 

So be thankful for what you've got, or Thankful Claus'll take 'em back!

Sounds like something my parents would come up with. Well, my dad would.

 

In all seriousness, though, that's a really good idea. I mean, if Santa Claus is real, then you gotta have Thankful Claus, too. It just fits!

My brother and sister and I are quite looking forward to practicing this with our children.

 

"Where's your Super Mega Death Cruncher? I don't know Revan! Maybe Thankful Claus thought you weren't grateful enough for it! Boy, I bet that whatever kid Santa gives it to is going to be very happy!"

 

And yes, I plan on naming at least one of my children Revan and I'd be totally fine with buying him/her a Super Mega Death Cruncher. So long as they were thankful for it.
