The old one was making this horrible humming noise whenever we'd turn it on, we were constantly having to change the bulb, and at times we were unable to even start it up. R.I.P our old television.

Seriously, the jump from 60Hz to 120Hz is huge. Everything looks so realistic and every movement is so fluid... I've heard that Blu-ray looks really good on it, too. Still yet to test that out.
