The Saints Are Coming
42-17
God help me, I'm going to become a Saints fan.
Again.
WHO DAT?
WHO DAT?
WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS?
I could say something about the Second Congressional race in Louisana: Karen Carter failed to unseat William Jefferson. And that doesn't make me happy. But, over the course of the runoff, Karen Carter's position on a lot of Louisiana-specific issues (including off-shore oil royalties) were shown to be very anti-Louisiana.
A crook or a wrecker. Lesser of two evils...gotta love Louisiana. Still, New Orleans, you are dead to me in a political sense.
But after the events in Irving, Texas, this past night, it's okay. The Saints. Are Coming.
In other news, the Cruisers have won their season finale, up 58-53 with two players left to go. The Cruisers will finish at 6-8 in their inaugural season in the DEII Fantasy Football League, and an improvement on my previous FFL entry, going 5-9 with a team appropriately dubbed "Exercise in Futility" in 2002.
Saturday I drive to Alexandria. A lot has to get done at work between now and then.
Time to hit the sack.
-KIE, who was wondering how long it'd take Than to catch the misspelling.
