Challenge 5:

Kraata Kraze

Ah, another week, another challenge. This week the challenge is a little different from what we've seen so far in that it doesn't really affect the whole build.

 

So, the challenge this week is centered around our favorite corruption-riddled slug creatures, the Kraata. The goal is to use one or more Kraata as something other than a Kraata. I've seen them used as things like palm tree fronds, for Mata-Nui's sake! No limits this time around besides the fact that you must use at least one Kraata in your MOC and it must be used as something other than a living slug-creature, so no Kraata piloting mechs, snowmobiles (who remembers that?), or anything else. I know they can be hard to get to stay on, but you could use one of Cordak tip / minifig weapon-sized things to hold it on, or just try your luck with putting it in a pinhole.

 

I imagine Kraata would make good claws, or maybe horns, or a tail tip... the possibilities are semi-endless. I look forward to seeing what people come up with, if anyone decides to actually participate in these things. :P Also, last week's challenge is still going. Good night!

I might have a go at this. Might have colour scheme problems though, I'm not sure I have any Kraata in matching colours.

Sheesh, would you people stop thinking of sensible questions? I have to keep making all these decisions. :P

 

Well, to answer your question, I guess that would be alright, but I'm pretty sure it would have to count as one MOC on your place in the content block with it shown as like [3/5], and under the current system challenges close in two weeks, so Challenge 3 is closed. You can still make things for it, but they won't count toward your score. Therefore, I think this MOC would give you one more MOC made and only be shown as a MOC for Challenge 5 on the content block. If both challenges were open, it would be shown as what I said before.

 

I'm kind of wondering if the system should be changed, like acutally making challenges open forever so each week I'm adding a new challenge to the ever-growing pool and you're free to make a MOC for whichever one you want, but I don't know. Perhaps it's better with only two challenges to choose for, or would it be better with 3? I think I'll make a blog poll and see what people think.
