Freddy Mallins Posted March 4, 2010 Ouch. I just dropped mine after Sho-Dan. TTCA requires that we write a huge paper on the concept of the Yin-Yang before becoming second degree; I just said 'Sorry, too busy' and buggered off. It was fun cleaving through boards with a step-side kick or elbow-smash, though. I do kinda miss those days. Quote Link to comment
Captain Marvel Posted March 4, 2010 You're lucky you got that far. There's only one student in my Karate studio that's a second-degree black, and he's been taking it since he was like three or something. He is over 15. Congrats on making it that far! I'm only a green w/1 stripe, which means I have 1 more stripe on my green, a red, then 2 more stripes on that red, and then 1st-degree black. again, congrats on making it that far. ~Cyborg~ Quote Link to comment
Lluvio Posted March 5, 2010 What style are you taking? Either that pattern's more common than I thought, or you're taking Tang Soo Do/Soo Bahk Do. Soo Bahk Do for the win. Quote Link to comment
