Mark Knopfler
I do hope I spelt that right.
Anyways, he was in Vancouver tonight, so we went. It. Was. Amazing. Cameras and recording equipment were prohibited, but I picked up a program ($20), a T-shirt (35$) , and an awesome poster signed by Mark Knopfler. The poster was $100 so I'm flat broke now, but I think it was worth it. Picz latr.
The show went on for about two and a half hours with no intermission. Lezee here so he did Sultans of Swing, Brothers in Arms, but not Money for Nothing, which was unfortunate. Would've loved to see him do that one as an encore.
On the subject of encores, we thought that Money for Nothing would indeed be it - it's only logical - but then it turned out to be Brothers in Arms and like half a dozen other songs before finally finishing with... Hm. Can't remember.
Also there was a flautist. A FREAKIN' FLAUTIST. That's awesome. And he was playing a left-hand flute. That makes it even more awesome.
We also met this guy who's a huge Knopfler fan and who appeared to slightly drunk.
So next it's Alice Cooper, The Eagles, Tom Petty, and Jethro Tull. I wish.
In other news, we watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas a few days ago in Socials. Carp that is one depressing movie.
So now I'm tired like heck so imma go to bed now kk.

oh look entry 99. That's one fewer than 98, and one more than 100. Or something like that.
