Ultimate Career Options

Based Goomy

Well, since I've been alive close to 16 years, I've been deciding what to do with the rest of my life. So due to my lifestyle and skills, I've widled it down to a few options:

1. Musician (Who doesn't want to be one. Besides, these guys get lots of women)

2. Actor (Ask Letagi about my acting skills from an outside perspective. I believe I'm quite good. Lots of women as well)

3. Pschologist (I hope I spelt that right. I seem to be good at understanding the human mind. Could be an interesting job)

4. Architect (Lego has helped me with this desicion. I think i'd bring an interesting viewpoint to the field)

So that's it. Comments?

1: Go for it if you can. I wouldn't know... I flunked my music class.

2: The problem with this is that everybody wants to be an actor. From my brief experience with drama classes at college, I realize you have to be very, very good at acting in order to make a career out of it. I'm not, but you're probably better, but just be warned. ;)

3: I hate psychology. :P

4: At my school, applicants for the industrial engineering major (basically architecture, right?) got ignored if they said they played with LEGO Bricks as a kid on their application. But saying you played with them as a teen... might be different.

Whatever you do, pick carefully. Also, don't pick the hardest major possible just because somebody suggested you should. I speak from experience. :glare:

1. You've got the skills and experience. Go for it.
2. You're not bad, but to be honest there's room for improvement. My one complaint is you have to stop smirking at your own lines. I believe I've told you this before. :P
3. I haven't seen your phycology skills in action so I can't really judge you on this.
4. Interesting viewpoint? No doubt about that. I would be more worried about the structural integrity of the buildings you design. :P

Personally, I plan on going into both music and engineering (most likely automotive). Maybe you should consider something similar?

And that be my four and a half cents.

1. No. Not unless you do a song feat. me.

2. @xccj How did Kristen Stewart get the part in Twilight? They obviously wanted a bad actress for a badly written character.

3. :glare: Don't.

4. Why not a LEGO designer then?

1. Maybe someday dude. You could play the spoons.

2. Personally, I have no idea how she got that part. I think they put ever actress in one place and drew names out of a hat.

3. Maybe I'll do this, just to annoy you :happydance:

4. Hmm. You've given me a bit to think about there.
