Cot Entry #1: Writing!

Sidorak the Feared

Busy, busy, busy. Busy writing, that is ;) . I love to write books. Not usually BIONICLE epics, but CoT books.

I've recently written a book, Caves, and I'd say it's my most popular one so far. Not that I'm going to publish it :P . I wrote it for Young Authors (From grades 1-6 or 7) and made it to State. But that's the farthest you can go, because it's only for IL.

It was about these two kids, Marty and Lucy Harrow, who's parents die (get murdered) in a plane crash. Their parents will is read, and they are sent to a man, Seth Lydux, who their parents had met when Lucy was a baby (Marty was not born at the tiem).

It actually starts out nice, then turns for the worse. They find out that their parents owned an organization by the name of CAVES (Critical Airation Vent Eusesophus System), and are left stranded on an island without food for a day or two. They eventually are forced to give the location of the actual cave where part of this organization is.

In this cave is a giant serpent-like creature with the scientific name of Eusesophus. It likes the smell of this 'new food', and attacks, and eventually kills someone. Marty, Lucy, and co. go back to the island where Seth Lydux's house is, and find police there, because a few days back Marty had secretly called his Grandma when he found out what Seth and co. were going to do.

I'm currently writing a sequel, where in the beginning, Marty, Lucy, and their Grandma are moving to New York, because they are now able to afford a new, better house (Or in this case a huge apartment, whatever) from the funds they got for revealing the Eusesophus to the general public, goverment, etc. Their parents would have announced it shortly after the plane ride, if it wouldn't have been shot down.

And, (This is just preliminary testing stuff) hopefully, if I can fit it in, a side-story of Seth, how he got all of the stuff he had (labs, a mansion, etc)!

Anyway, the Eusesophus will break out of his underwater cage, which was what kept it from escaping, and start exploring, eventually getting older, and growing huge, wing-like arms. It will make a return by finding it's way to New York, slaughtering dozens (Or maybe hundreds, depending on how long I can get the book to be)

Hopefully, it'll be a trilogy!

StF, signing off!

Phew! BZP keeps getting so busy it keeps saying "page cannot be displayed". . . it did that to me when trying to post this a few hours back-- good thing I copied it!

UPDATE! I may draw concept pics of the Eusesophus pictured in "CAVES II [Working Title] and post them on BZP soon!"
