Yeah, I got back late last night from my Beta trip NOT knowing I had strep throat along with the flu. I made it back home from the doc's about 2 hours ago.. Nausea, throat "redder than a cherry", aches, wheezing, coughs, fever, etc.

Anyway, besides the fact I had that for 2 days, the trip was actually fun. My school's group talent didn't place so that kinda made things a bit shakey, the chant got 3rd which was good for the entire state including some school's from Arkansas, Texas, and Alabama. At least, I believe they were from those states. l didn't really get much sleep, 6 hours Wednesday night, 4 hours Thursday, and try sleeping on a bouncing bus.. Well, I'm just glad to be back home, "there's no place like home."

By the way, the Caddo Parish School Board did close school Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. So that was fun before the trip .
