Spampire Posted January 25, 2007 It seems better than my 30 gig iPod... I should have gotten that. Quote Link to comment
EXTREEEEEME!!! Posted January 25, 2007 Eh, I'm not much into ipods. I don't really know, or like, enough songs for there to be any reason for me to get one. And I don't really care for MP3 players that much either. Edit: Note, I'm replying to UberNacho when I say this. Quote Link to comment
Lady Kopaka Posted January 25, 2007 iPods are so overated. *Wacks ipods* Hey I saw that one while shopping for my own mp3, but I could only afford $130 sansa. ;_; It is 4gb though, nice stuff. Quote Link to comment
-flow- Posted January 25, 2007 The only reason why I'm not considering a different mp3 player is because I have so much stuff in iTunes... ~Light~ Quote Link to comment
Biomech Posted January 25, 2007 Creative makes great stuff, I have an 8GB Zen MicroPhoto myself. I have 350+ songs on it and I've only used up 2GBs. XD Quote Link to comment
ExoM7 Posted January 25, 2007 I'd have gotten an iPod, except for the dreaded monster... iTunes. I have 18gb worth of songs on my Windows Media Player, and it'd be such a pain in the neck to get everything on to iTunes (bad licensing rights etc., bad!). But since I can just plug this into my computer for a few hours while everything transfers... Ahhhh. Quote Link to comment
Biomech Posted January 25, 2007 iTunes (the program, not the store) is actually good, I love CoverFlow. ^__^ Quote Link to comment
ExoM7 Posted January 25, 2007 Yeah, the program is awesome, it's really just about perfect. I might get Rhapsody. About the best (coughlegalcough) choice. Quote Link to comment
ExoM7 Posted January 25, 2007 That's because Canucks can't rhap. AHAHAHAHAHA ... k Quote Link to comment
Kopaka's Ice Engineering Posted January 25, 2007 Is there a recommended player for someone who downloads less than 2% of the MP3's he listens to? (80% ripped, 18% installed by other programs) -KIE Quote Link to comment

(80% ripped, 18% installed by other programs) -KIE iTunes is really good as we said, RealPlayer is nice, Windows Media Player is okay too. There are lots of choices. I say go with iTunes. second worst username ever Posted January 25, 2007 This has got to be the longest an entry in Exo's blog has gone without being turned into a spamfest I've got a 4GB iPod Nano but about 1.5 GB is holding the extras, so there's actually not that much room for music . The 'extra' feature are called extra for more then one reason. Quote Link to comment
Biomech Posted January 25, 2007 I meant portable MP3 player. -KIE Oh, lol, it depends on how much music you have and how much space you'd need. 2GB is a good starting point. Some good MP3s I recommend: 2GB to 8GB - SanDisk Sansa e200 series - Creative Zen MicroPhoto - iRiver Clix (this one is really good, I wanted it but couldn't find it) - iPod Nano 30GB+ - Creative Zen Vision:M - Toshiba Gigabeat - Microsoft Zune - iPod Video The ones in bold are my favs. Quote Link to comment
Kharhorataz Posted January 25, 2007 Too old. Wiipods are the new ipods. I bought one on Ebay: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=29...+song&hl=en Quote Link to comment

Etcetere Posted January 26, 2007 My uncle's getting me an iPob when he goes back to China. Yes, iPob. (o) Quote Link to comment
Biomech Posted January 26, 2007 Nice! Not that I know anything about iPods, but it looks cool! - ... maybe 'cause it's not an iPod? =P Quote Link to comment
A Sah Shi Posted January 26, 2007 Oh yeah, sorry about that. I always call MP3 players iPods, even if they're not. MP3 Player and iPod are like synonomous to me. I'll get the hang of it eventually. I'm so far behind in music players. - Quote Link to comment
frankin-kal-96 Posted January 26, 2007 *wistles* cooooooolll... 'Have to admit, even though I get my music for free, it would be pretty cool to be able to listen to it on those rare occasions when I leave the house... Quote Link to comment
-flow- Posted January 27, 2007 I'd have gotten an iPod, except for the dreaded monster... iTunes. I have 18gb worth of songs on my Windows Media Player, and it'd be such a pain in the neck to get everything on to iTunes (bad licensing rights etc., bad!). But since I can just plug this into my computer for a few hours while everything transfers... Ahhhh. iTunes software (layout, organization, functionality, etc.): AMAZING. iTunes licensing rights, etc: GRAAAAAGGHHHH Now, if iTunes didn't have all that licensing stuff, then I'd transport my music, videos, etc. all to Windows Media Player and get a Zen or other mp3 player. Not that iPod's bad, I mean, iPod is awesome. It's just that I'm not tied down to iPod, and there's lot of other amazing and probably cheaper, yet still amazing, mp3 players out there. But since iTunes does have all that copyright stuff... GRAAAAAAGHHHHH ~Light~ Quote Link to comment
