Coming to you from the exceedingly comfortable orange swivel chair which was culled from the theatre department as part of an unofficially sanctioned population control measure, it's...quotes! From college! Which you totes would not have guessed from the title!

“Yeah, but theatre isn't a religion...No, wait! It is; it's just not an organized religion. It's disorganized. A disorganized religion!”

“The Big Dipper looks bigger here than it did back home.”

“That's because of all the nice people! Here in Kansas!”

“Her mustache is dilated!”

"These new Aristocats were thus neutralized as potential enemies of Tenochtitlan."

Most, if not all, of which you would need a] context and/or b] to have been up at 3 am to fully appreciate. Some other, less newly coined quotes have been added to the appropriate blocks.

Also, I got cast as one of two charming Spanish men in Neil Simon's The Odd Couple (Female Version), which of course means that my hair will have to be cut, dyed, and possibly straightened. I am more than a little pleased that I get to act again, not to mention that I beat out the competition.

And did I mention that I have a British flag hanging in my dorm's window? It is right next to the air conditioner which is right next to my roommate's American flag. We pretty much have the best room in the dorm building, which sadly isn't saying much.

Anyway, I know it's kind of a roundabout way of saying it, but I guess the whole point I'm trying to make here is that someone is maybe getting under my skin and that the Beatles have, like, the best songs ever. Totes. Σ¦3

I definitely would not have inferred that point.

Sounds fun so far, your college life.

Nice quotes.

You'll definitely need to tell us more about your roommate and why you get along...if doing so would not be creepy and would make a good blog entry. (However, simply stating a vast similarity of interests would suffice.)

Whoever said anything about getting along? :P

No, we do. It's nothing so similar as Marissa and I, but we do have a commonality of interests in music and acting, at least, and maybe some sci-fi stuff too. Personality, demeanor, and life goals are probably a bit more different, but though we're not each other's BFFs, we are coexisting well enough. I've not yet met anyone I know I'd rather be roommates with, either.
