My library finally purchased The Small House Book by Jay Shafer, which is weird, because they originally told me it wasn't available to purchase. I'm not going to complain though. =P

I'm starting to read through it and there is some interesting stuff in it. I like most of the houses Jay has designed, although I don't think I would be able to live, long term, in one of his tiny houses. I would have go with one of his small houses. 250 to 900 sq. ft is appealing to me though. Enough room to live in, but not too much excess. I suppose I would probably end up with more then that though, because I'd need a garage to store stuff.
