I'm having an issue with my computer that I need to solve fairly quickly. I was looking into upgrading my RAM, so I opened up my computer and pulled one of the, uh, RAM pieces out. I took a picture of the unit specs and put it back in. It wasn't clicking into place like it was supposed to, so I fiddled with the latches a bit. That didn't help, so I pulled the other one out and had the same issue. Eventually I sorta pushed them into place so that they seemed like they clicked. I put everythin
'twas a blast. :3 Unfortunately I missed part of the setup time, so I was never really a contender. Gotta give you credit AT, you really caught me while my guard was down. I was just happy to be resupplied on arrows and to have escaped MI, I wasn't thinking about being snuck up on. Although I had been starting to worry about being in a place with one exit for too long. The one time I didn't break a window... But the afterparty made up for it. It was a... Blast. B) YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
You know, looking at my old blog entries, not many of them got more than 3 replies. Besides the Anti-Brony list, but I like to pretend that never happened >__>
Well, at least for a week. If I win GSR's little giveaway I'll have this for a year, but given my luck with the Summer Seal the other day (hrrrrrgh), I'm not going to hold my breath. So yeah, uh...better start using this bad boy
Okay, so that graphics card I mentioned a few entries down works great. Now, I'm interested in trying a Civilization game. But Civilization 4 and Civilization 5 both got great reviews. So my question is: which one should I get? I'd rather not get both, so....
Well, my family is going up to New York tomorrow, so we opened presents tonight. Seeing as it's my last day as a premier, I thought I should post this. Game: -The World Ends With You (woop woop) -Sonic Generationss 3DS (probably going to eBay this off, I had meant to take it off of my list when I saw it was getting bleh reviews...I didn't realize the console version was different) -Rayman Origins -Kirby's Return to Dreamland Books: The Bourne Identity Casino Royale The Chronicles of Narnia
I must take this opportunity to broadcast to you all the wonders of Ogre Battle 64. Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber is probably my all-time favorite game. It's a strategy-RPG developed by Quest (who, if I understand correctly, was absorbed/partially broken up by Square a few years later) for the Nintendo 64. The game was one of the few RPGs releases on the Nintendo 64, and it came out shortly before the end of the system. The game has you putting characters in units of 3x3 grids.
Geforce GT 430. 60 bucks. It's not top-of-the-line or anything, but it'll cover what I play (Minecraft, Portal, Spore, maybe Civilization 4 and 5 if I ever get those).
Well, one more day with a blog, so I might as well write this. Since I put that spoiler warning in the title, there will be NO HOLDS BARRED. No spoilers tags, no whited-out names. You asked for it. --- So overall, I think this game has the best bosses in the series. I really can only think of one particular fight in the game which disappointed me. If you've played the game, you can probably think of which one it is. What I liked about the fights in this game is that, for the most part, they
A friend is coming over tomorrow, and we're planning for a marathon of this game. Back when he got it (he has the game, not me) we could do some insane multiplayer matches. Hoping we have the same success a year later. Any other fans of this game? I hope to pick it up some day, but I'm financially focused on getting a computer graphics card at the moment. also yay 4 blog entries in one day
Question. Why was I not informed that there is a portable version of Ogre Battle with a slightly different name and combat system? =P But seriously, I'm hooked on Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. I'm actually digging some of the free GBA games I got, Warioware and this in particular. I didn't even bother downloading MK: Super Circuit though, since I have a vastly superior Mario Kart available.
Finally the rest of the games got announced. December 16 in Japan, but hopefully we'll get them same day here. I've ranked them with my interest, 1 being highest, 10 lowest. Just in case you thought I was counting up, not down. #9: F-Zero: Maximum Velocity #4: Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 #1: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap #8: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones #6: Kirby & The Amazing Mirror #10: Mario Kart Super Circuit #7: Mario vs Donkey Kong #2: Metroid Fusion #5: Wa
