i saw what looked like semi translucent masks for pohatu and Lewa that come with some of those skull guys, anyone know whats up with those?? corrupted masks? also anyone know when these figures are suppose to be relaesed? (i can only find kopaka, tahu, and lewa at my local stores)

i am positive we will another Toa, just look at all of the storied for lego's toylines (bionicle, ninjago, ect.... ) heck even power rangers is proof there is always a additional character added later, i HOPE that will be takanuva... but we will see. Tak is one of my TOP fav character (next to Kopaka) so i hope to see him in some form, but he needs a good story to be brought in in a way that fans will accept

update: I added a picture of Stars Takanuva with more accurate armor, see the bottom of my first post.let me know how it compares to the all silver armor stars vs. the more accurate stars armor.

the axles sticking out of their backs, is mostly because Kopaka was supposed to have wings that attached to the axles, in the end i really didn't care for the wings i created, and i left the axles there. I built Tahu to resemble Kopaka's body build because all the Toa Mata had the same body build (exept for Pohatu and Onua), and i wanted to keep it the same, that is why he has the axles on his back too, but they are shorter. as for Pohatu's piraka torso..... i thought it worked, and i didn't have anything brown to go in its place.

i tried getting as much white into the arms as possible, but i did not have any other white pieces that would work, my Kopaka version has the same issues only he has even more grey (blegh!). i didnt want to complicate the legs, i was trying to make the figure as simple as possible, i did have more armor on the legs but i just didn't like it. He needed armor on his arms and the gold Visorak eyes were the only gold parts i had, i guess i could look for a white part instead, truthfully the gold doesn't bother me much.the black liftarm on the chest bothers me the most, but i did not have the correct length liftarm in white or any other color, my Takanuva, Tahu, and Kopaka have the black Liftarm witch bothers me greatly. i took pictures of Tahu, Kopaka, and a custom Pohatu (with a different body build), i will post them once i sort out the pics, check back later. Update: Here are the others:Kopaka, more grey than i want but i had to make 2 white primary colored Toa, and i did just not have enough white parts, shield is attached to his forearm and can swing around out of the way of his hand. back is different from Takanuva so things could attach to his back (similar to the Phantoka/Mistika) to allow flight, where as with Takanuva all that attached to his back was his staff. Skiing: Tahu:Nothing special, i tried getting as much Mata red in as possible so his mask wouldn't look out of place and because of all the red metru parts i had to use, i also had to make different arms because i ran out of the elbow balljoints that Takanuva and Kopaka used. Pohatu:Unique body, i tried getting a mix of orange with the primary brown color, because I intended for him to use his orange Phantoka mask (witch I don't like). Photok mask: the reason he has joints on his feet... for flight, I did not like the Phantoka Pohatu at all, sure it was a cool figure, but i did not think it fit Pohatu.i wanted his flight to be linked to his feet, i got the idea while watching Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Hermes flying shoes. I love Greek mythology. hope everyone likes 'em

the hands are pretty sturdy, although I had to go through different ball combinations before I could find a non floppy combination. I can post the others (Tahu, Kopaka), but i would have to wait till tomorrow to take pics of the others, check back tomorrow, or perhaps i should make individual posts?

My First custom figure Post. Takauva has always been one of my most favorite Toa (Kopaka and Takanuva are tied as my favs). for the body I got the idea by seeing a custom by another person, however i did not have the same pieces used in the custom I saw, so I had to use my own creative building with parts i did have. With arm that controls shadow: With armor/mask coloration to Resemble Takanuva Stars: and finally the hands, allowing a Huge range of movement, i have never seen anyone articulate the hands/wrists in this way, and i am rather pleased with how simple they are: i have also created Tahu and of course Kopaka in a extremely similar build.i hope you all like him. Update: only a few hours ago did i realize that Stars Takanuva has white shoulder armor, and white chest armor.i added the white shoulders and a little more white to the arms.i removed the visorak gold eyes and added white ones instead, taken from the Phantoka/Mistika Taknuva.and i have no white chest armor that would work, so i left it silver, and created some dual staffs similar to the stars figure.dunno how the colors compares to the all silver armor higher up that i said was stars. Update: And more white in the upper arms.

Takua was a Matoran of light (AV-Matoran).so when Takua became a Toa(via the Avohkii) he was given elemental powers of his Matoran region he originated from. any Matoran who becomes a Toa gets the powers of their respective Region they are from. I suppose that since the color of AV-Matoran are white and gold, any mask takanuva uses would by default be gold, but he can change his colors to anything he would want...

cool!So Takanuva can use other masks, but he is limited to what he can carry with him or what is available to him at that moment. while wearing another mask he can manipulate light (at limited strength), but he cannot "bring peace and understanding to others" because that isAvohkii specific abliities i didnt realize the element of light alone (no Avohkii) had so many powers: light manipulation/creation/absorption.Lazers.bend light to become invisible.light speed movement.body color changes (explains Takanuva's stars figure colors, but not the stars Physical change from the shadow leech incident).Illusions (solid and non-solid)if ha can do solid illiusions, he could probably create shields too. i guess i was confusing the Avohkii powers and powers of light into one.this has helped straighten some confusions i had

okay so using only his elemental powers manipulate and control light (shoot a powerful beam of light).but he could not make another being trust him, calm someone down, etc... those were only with the mask. the mask would amplify his elemental powers over light (similar to the Power Lance). could Takanuva collect other masks?Takanuva does not have Suva correct? a suva allows a toa to have multiple masks, correct? Tahu's Suva was destroyed, yet he was able to have both the Vahi and his Hau after the destruction of his Suvacould Takanuva have other masks even without a Suva? like Tahu with the Vahi. I guess i feel bad that he is Limited to only one mask.A extremely powerful mask, but only one mask.

just curious on other people's opinion on a question I have been thinking of for a while now.dunno if this has been discussed, but i couldn't find any answers. it seems that both Takanuva's ELEMENTAL power AND his MASK power are light. could he use the ELEMENTAL power of light separate from the MASK power if he was perhaps separated from the mask? and. Could Takanuva use other masks?I dunno if there are other masks for Takanuva to collect, especially after the Toa Mata were done collecting their masks.But could he acquire and use other masks? or was he limited to only the mask of light? and (related to first question) if he could use other masks, could he still use his ELEMENTAL power of light (not mask power of light) when using another mask? what are your thoughts?
