These are the new and old rules for the G&T forum. They must be followed.Game ContentThis forum is for LEGO-related games. This includes Bionicle and Hero Factory. Other games belong in CoT.Hosting GamesFirst of all, if you are non-Premier, make sure that the Premier you have asked to start the Topic will help you host it as a Co-Host. Premiers cannot start Topics for non-Premiers and let the Non-Premier Host it without their help.If you're a Premier or non, when you Post the rules of the game and the point of it, make sure it is clear and understandable. If you've made it confusing or haven't Posted the point or rules you'll just have a spamfest of Posts asking what you mean.When you are hosting your game or games, be courteous to your players. Don't ban them from your game for one small offense, such as Posting an answer twice, both different answers. Just remind them of the rules. Also don't go overboard when you have to ban someone either, you'll have a much better chance of the offender not causing havoc in your game before leaving. Remember, hosting your game doesn't mean you have the power to do whatever you want in it... the real Games/Trivia Moderators have that power here.Requesting a Premier's HelpTo find a Premier to help you host a game, send them a PM asking if they would help you run one, and give them a rundown of it so they know how to help. If they say no, just ask someone else - They are quite numorous here.Premier Co-hosting for Non-Premier - How can you help?There are several ways to help the non-Premier. One way is you can start out the members by Posting the rules and infromation about the game. After you've done that, you can help keep the Topic on track and help the game go smoothly. You can do this by saying if the answer was right or wrong, whether or not you can buy something, etc. You can also help 'Moderate' the Topic by reminding rule breakers of the rules in it if they are breaking them. There are, however, many ways to co-host a Game. You just have to stay helping in it. Please don't ask Premiers to start Topics here unless you want them to help you run it, and Premiers, don't start Topics unless they are for yourself or you'll help run it. Unless the Premier who started it helps run it, it'll just be closed.An exception to this is if the Premier Member that originally hosted the game passes the torch to another Premier Member - if that second Premier Member continues to host the game, then the game topic will not be kept open.Playing GamesWhen you want to join a game, make sure you give all the neccessary information in your joining Post. Also, if the host/s has decided they don't need anymore players, obey them and don't try to join. You may ask them in a PM if you could be an exception, nicely of course, if you want.Also after you have joined, obey the rules given by the host. Don't try to bend the rules either, please. Always be courteous to your fellow players and your host.RPG GamesAny RPG game is not allowed. We have a separate forum for RPGs. Use that instead.From now on, an RPG is classified as -any- game that involves the player making choices that add to a storyline. For example: "I will pick up the box and look inside." Such a choice advances the story, and makes the game an RPG. It doesn't matter if the game host gives the choices pre-made to pick from; the game is still an RPG.If you don't know whether a game is an RPG or not, PM a Games & Trivia Forum leader or Forum assistant and we will help you.Linking to alternate sitesPlease be aware, if your game is not played in a BZP topic it should not be advertised in one. Quizzes/adventures/etc need to be acted out here, since by sending players to another site they may potentially encounter objectionable material. It's just making the topic into a discussion forum by linking to another site.BZPower RulesRemember that even though Posts don't count here, it doesn't mean you can spam and break rules here. If you want to add something, please don't double Post, use the edit butten. If you're beaten at something, please don't start flaming in the Topic about it. Most of all, don't Spam repeatedly asking to join. The revival limit is 20 days in G&T - this means that you should not post in topics that have not been replied to in over 20 days.All rules regarding to the rest of BZP are regarded here... please obey them.Thanks!G&T Forum Leaders and Assistants
