    I haven't been on BZP for a year.

     

    So actually, I have made an comic who use the (formerly) most popular format of BZP comics: COMIC STUDIO.

    Hero Factory RPG

    Name: Lance ScannerGender: MaleAppearance: Normal Hero body, with some antennas sticking out. However, his helm is an unique design, having an completely sleek front, with some slits for the eye and three round scanners (think those on the Akaku) An crest shaped like a V is on his forehead. His eyes and core is an yellow shade.Personality: Lance is practically THE deadpan snarker when he is around other heroes, that he mostly avoids because of their tendencies to use him as an living fortune cookie.

    Background: Lance is made as an recon-based Hero, scouting the area before others come in.

     

    Then someone had the bright idea to give him prediction skills.

     

    The first attempt was an failure. The second ones too. The third attempt was just an 8-ball made fancy.

     

    The Prediction drive was the fourth attempt to give him the prediction power, and it worked, though not without problems: it make mistakes, sometimes critical ones, and it becomes more unreliable the farther it goes in the future. Nonetheless, it was an success, and he is used in the Breakout Mission. Equipment:

    The Prediction Drive: This allows him to predict moves and happenings in the future. Note that this is NOT a see-future drive: it can make critical mistakes, so it is best not to rely on it too much. Additionally, it becomes more unreliable the farther it goes in the future.

    Meteor Blaster: Standard, but has an bayonet.

    Scanning Suite: This allows him to scan the arena

    Skillset: Scanner is above average in both ranged combat and melee's: mostly utilizing his Prediction Drive to see the moves of the enemy. However he is not the most mobile hero, needing support.Other:

    Not one I plan on getting, either. Too much cheese for me, something Lego seems to have enjoyed producing in many recent themes. I'd love to see another line with a nice, serious original story again.

     

    Between Hero Factory and Chima, Lego has enough cheese to make a second moon.

    Not that there's anything wrong with that. Seriousness enough in other toys; Lego should make what they love.

    A wasted opportunity

    Maybe it's because I'm looking at this from an elding fan's perspective, but I sort of feel like there was a huge opportunity wasted when we never got any sets, (Toa, Matoran, Turaga or whatever other species adhere to the elements) of any other elements aside from the "big 8".

     

    The "big 8", are obviously supposed to mean the six main Toa elements, as well as Light and Shadow.

     

    OK, this isn't entirely true, in the Bara Magna story years we got Gresh, Vastus, Sahmad and Telluris. However, that seems like too little, too late, and Gresh and Vastus still got air powers anyway.

     

    How cool wouldn't it have been to have an actual main storyline Toa team in which all of them are of other elements?

     

    Looking back, I think the best opportunity for this would've been the Voya Nui/Mahri Nui storyline. To use some recognition, they could've used Krakua, and have had the OoMN gather other Toa from across the universe to set out and stop the Piraka (which also didn't have to be the six main elements)

     

    Heck, why not make the Voyatoran (Garan, Piruk, etc.) into other elements?

     

    What do you think?

    This idea has been circulating in my head for a while. Maybe I would write an epic about it if only I can stop procrastinating.

    Sooooo..... this is an idea that somehow came up: Friends meets Bionicle.

     

    ......what?

     

     

     

    QUICK CHARACTER INFO:

    Phi: A normal Ta-Matoran, who just wants to live a normal life.... and gets anything but.

    Noktal-Kah: Hyperactive Bohrok who is annoying.

    Sonata: An female Av-toran who is the conscience of the group

    Axxon:A generally nice guy, though prone to "Uh'.

    UTWO: A MUTE GUY, WHO WHEN TRANSALATED, IS VERY LOOOOUUUUUDDD!!!!!

    Professor Boktongu: World-famous mad scientist of the same species of Keetongu. Also somehow German.

    The war has came to an end: Makuta was killed (by a flying rock!), Spherus Magna was reformed, and Mata Nui is in the Mask of Life, who is dormant for now.

     

    But there is still one problem.......

     

    What about the housing for all those people?

     

     

    *SOMEWHERE IN SPHERUS MAGNA, IN THAT MATORAN-AGORI-CITY-THING, 10000 YEARS LATER.....*

     

    "Ah, finally I can move in my new house! No annoying and weird things anymore that make life more difficult.", a Matoran said.

     

    Said Matoran was a very average Ta-Matoran, who was of very average height and wears a very average Hau, with the very average name of Phi. After a very non-average college study(don't ask), he finally can lead a normal live. So normal, in fact, that-

    *SLAP!*

     

    "So.... Let's see how this house is."

     

    After opening the door and walking in, he felt a strange feeling, like other people was watching him. He shrugged and walked, and then suddenly.......

     

    "SURPRISE!!!!"

     

    "What? Huh? Who the Kazanhi are YOU?"

    "Eeeeh..... I'm...... Eeeeeh..... Nokal-Tah the Bohrok??"

    "Phi. Now, get out MY HOUSE BOHROK"

    "But..... I have proof that I live at this house!"

    "Well, give it then."

    "Here Phi!"

    "..........Oh, Mata Nui...... IT'S HORRIBUUUULL"

     

    Flash foward fifteen minutes later, Phi still lies in shock from the knowlegde that he needs to live with an insane and hyperactive Bohrok.

     

    "Well", he sighed, "This cannot get any worse...... Right?"

     

    Sadly enough, fate was easily tempted.

     

    "Uh... Hi, Axxon here. Is this the house that I have rented?"

    "...."(Transaltion: I AM UTWO AND CLAIM DIS HOUSE)

    "Hi, I guess. Oh yeah, I am Sonata"

    "Oh, come on! Who's next?! A mad scientist of the same species of Keetongu who is also German, who comes flying in on a JETPACK?!"

     

    Suddenly, a rumbling sound was heard. Then a mad scientist of the same speices of Keetongu who is also German came crashing through the house.

     

    On a JETPACK.

     

    "Hallo, ze Mctorans of scheince! I am Professor Boktongu, ze world-phamious schientist!"

    "You have to be KIDDING me....."

    *beat*

    *beat*

    *yet another beat*

    "Wait...... So you guys buyed this house?"

    "Uh, rented actually, but yeah, I guess."

    "....."(Transalation: OF COURSE. NATURALLY)

    "Duh."

    "Yes!"

    "Dumfkoff, yes."

    "Soooo.... you will claim the rights to live here?

    "Yeah, I guess."

    "..."(Transalation: NATURALLY)

    "Duh."

    "YEEEESSS!!!!!"

    "As I schaid:Dumfkoff, yes."

    *beat*

    Then Phi let an ear-splitting scream.

    "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

     

    "....wow, he took it better than I expected."
