Guardian Knuckles

It's been... over two years since I posted here; and I come back to see you retire. I must admit that you did give me a lot of inspiration back then. Now as your comics conclude, I'm extremely thankful to have read them. Part 1 was rather dark, so I await the conclusion with a somewhat nostalgic patience.

Update: To fully understand it, it looks like I'll have to catch up with the past two years... and I know I won't regret it. Though I should be sad, I feel only satisfaction. Thank you, Gavla!

The batman theme never gets old.Joland shedding a tear in the last pannel was a perfect way to conclude this comic. Great, now I feel like crying too....

You kinda gave it away with your avatar, lol. The transforming sprite and your signature were both well made. I await the next comic.

Honestly, I don't think that Skakdi have skulls, but perhaps storywise they do, rather than set wise, "the skull" being a face. But there are various characters whose face is the Skakdi skull, so "the skull" could be like an unmasked matoran's face. A simple matter made confusing, I see.

That was my favorite recent comic. It was really brilliant, especially the last part. Do you always wear a mask behind your mask?

"Stairs If You Fall We Are Not Responsable." Indeed it's the crazy Pokeman trainer who is responsable. I do feel sorry for the green narrator chap.

That was interesting, but just don't spoil the comic through your post next time.

Onua Mata. My first and favorite.

My favorite would be the Mata canister. My least favorite would be the Mahri canister.

This is quite sad. I loved the recent comics and seeing MG seperated from Mini Chilly gives one of those sad feelings in your heart. It was obvious that it was going to happen, but seeing the event taking place was just as powerful as if not knowing the forthcomming.

Yet another floating child sighting. This pair is actually quite cute.

No, you should include that Rabbit Super Hero guy. (I haven't watched the show since I was a kid). Buster would be pretty funny too, though.

Perfect. Just send Arthur to another dimension, and you won't have any more problems. I must admit that the face Arthur made when seeing the cake sign scared me. Adding a Dark709 expression to a cartoon character is scary, yet funny in its own way. I believe it would be more realistic had you spirited glasses on the eye popping scene. It seems as if the eyes are popping out, straight from the glasses.

A child loving Makuta versus a Child Hunter. This is not going to end well.

But I miss his presence everywhere yet his rare posts. Now Tohu has been degraded into an automated posting system.

so evil/makuta/(whatever the back gav is) is good? bad? or just has a soft spot for children?

The last two comics were funny. They reminded me a lot of Ennar's old saga... Dora the Explorer, was it? Either way, the comic was funny.

It really just depends on what culture or traditions you have. For me, for example, the main point of the holidays is Christmas Eve, and Christmas is just a day of relaxing after waking up early to see what's under the tree.

That poor matoran will never get his balloon back... Cahli is starting to scare me now.
