I dunno. I just dunno. I want to get one of them, but I don't know which. And no, both isn't an option. Now, if Santa would bring me that darned money tree that I've been asking for the last few years, then it wouldn't be a problem. Only thing is, Santa doesn't like me anymore... Apparently Dasher (or was is Prancer?) found something in the kitchen other than cookies and milk, and Santa wasn't all too happy about the present he got on his lap. But I really need to know...

After nearly two entire months as Princess Peach, over 1,000 posts in hot pink with a wub smilie, and hundreds of PMs about it, I am finally back.

To be honest, I only have a faint memory on how this whole ordeal even began. The prankee making a typo on the abbreviation “gj” inspired the whole prank idea. That formed my member title, and the avatar, banner, and custom rank image were also formed. A little while before me, one of my fellow FAs was also pranked -- Than. For a week or so, there was a chaotic topic on our pranks, which eventually was spammed up to a point where closure was necessary. Shortly after that, our Matoran of Faux Topic Closing and the Village People was changed back to the Angry Matoran (I’m sorry to report that the Faux Closings do still spring up at times, you have to watch out). However, the Princess still stood tall and proud, just as pink and pretty as ever.

In between all this, another FA was pranked -- Redeemer. Unfortunately, he disregarded my warnings, and what I had left of his hair was thrown into the incinerator. Oh, and if you ever want an easy win at online golf, you know who to ask.

Shortly after that, Omi was united with his favorite fanny packs. At least somebody is enjoying his prank.

Oh, and speaking of Omi, it was all his fault that I had that disturbing banner. My apologies go out to anybody who received any injuries due to this image. I’m sure you might also be wondering about this “caress the server” thing, as it did also appear on the banner, but it’s an inside joke kinda thing that only Tufi and I will fully understand. Again, highly disturbing. Try and push the mental images out of your mind.

For the last several weeks, the PMs I had been receiving about the prank also started changing. It went from people asking about the prank, to people asking if I really was PP, asking my gender, asking if I was ever going to be changed back, asking if Kex had died... I mean, all kinds of things.

And now, alas, Kex is back. To a degree, you could say I “earned” it, but that’s nothing for you to worry about. Just be glad there isn’t a pink fool in the presence of your beloved BZPower. And remember, normalcy is overrated.

Ask me questions. I'm the mood.

    I might answer them.

    Or I might not.

But I more than most likely will.

    So, ask me some questions.

So, I've abandoned this thing again. I really want to start using it.

I haven't had one of those things were members get to ask me questions and I answer them. So this entry will do just that.

    Ask away!

Do any of you, the members of BZP, have suggestions for any of the following forums:

    BBC
    COT
    Sets

I'd be glad to hear them and see what I can do. You can PM me if you don't want to make your suggestion public.
  6. Kex
After a recent turn of events in COT (not naming any names, and neither will you), I think it is finally time for this blog entry.

So a member makes a spam topic. What should I, as a BZPower citizen, do? How can I help?

    1. Report the topic.
    2. PM or IM an online staff member that can handle the situation.
    3. Reflect upon your good deed.

It is very important to also note that you should never post in a spam topic. Ever. Ever. That will do nothing but encourage others to post, and will only draw more attention to the topic and produce even more spam.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Yes, I hate Nintendo for making their Wi-Fi USB Connector SO RIDICULOUSLY HARD TO USE.

My DS refuses to connect to it. Anyone have any suggestions? Help?

    Ugh.

(if you help me I will show you my pokemans)

So I was a bit bored one day, and decided that my username needed a little spice. My solution? Add a dash to both ends of my username. I was pretty unexpectedly made an ST before I got the chance to remove the symbols myself. So I just stuck with them... Until today. Decided to ask one our friendly neightborhood admins for a name change, as staff members don't even have the option to change their name in their CP, to avoid confusion. And since it was just a matter of removing two little symbols, it wasn't a big deal. I was still Kex all along. I lol'd everytime someone called me -Kex-.

    Just a heads up.
  9. Kex
Yes, I do. Luckily I also have some solutions.

I've been making money for over a year now. My job rules. Alright, so I'm lying through my teeth. But it's either Publix or a fast food joint (Burger King would be the closest) and I'd rather not be flipping burgers. But who knows -- maybe Than can tell me that it's not as bad as it seems. Regardless, fast food employees don't get tips, while I do. And believe me, you come in contact with some of the more wealthy people. And around the holidays? Go to work. Hurricane coming? Go to work. I made some big bucks the other week, because there was a tropical storm heading in my direction. It hit pretty close, but didn't do much of anything. I was actually at work during the "worst part". Weren't many customers around, but oh well. Not to mention I got two days off school for a storm that did next to nothing. Made money and chilled with no homework. Sweet deal.

Back on the topic of making money: I put most of my earnings directly into my bank account. I have a large chunk saved, as there will be many a thing that will need payment in the future. Things like a car, insurance, college, and future luxuries. All things that are never too early to start saving for. What I normally do is put every other check in the bank. (I get paid every Thursday.) I end up with large amounts of cash in my wallet, and I put some of that money lingering, burning holes in my pocket, into the bank as well. This has been a pretty smooth process until about a month ago. I've been buying stuff like crazy. And by stuff I mean music. CDs. Albums. That stuff. In the past month alone, I bought nine CDs. Nine. Plus a few other misc. songs from iTunes. It's a lot. I really need to stop. I mean, you should be able to enjoy the money you make and spend it on things you like, but this is a bit extreme... It's over $100 in music. Which isn't too much, considering I'm making about $80 a week, even with school and everything now. But I'm kinda torn, because I obviously want the stuff, but I want my bank account to continue growing at the same time.

Growing. That's what my music collection has been doing. In fact, it has now outgrew my measly 2 GB iPod Nano. I now have all these new CDs and I can't put them on my iPod... Ugg. It's no fun. But then I hear about these new iPods comng out soon... Next week, I believe. One of the new iPod's is going to be $250, 30 GB, capable of playing movies, new iPod games, brighter screen, and have a longer battery life. Am I gonna buy it? Yes. Yes I am.

But now I'm going to have a nice little black 2 GB iPod Nano sitting here, in very good condition. I decided that I'm going to sell it. Not not just a normal "sell". Oh no. It's going to be auctioned: auctioned right here on BZPower. That's right: you can own Kex's iPod! I'll have pictures and all that stuff when the time comes. So if you're interested... Look out.

So please, stop PMing me and asking!

I get several PMs daily from members who would like to start an official topic, RPG, game, etc. I simply cannot approve these things -- it's out of my power. Only Forum Leaders can approve topics. Only Forum Leaders can approve topics. Only Forum Leaders can approve topics. Only Forum Leaders can approve topics!

    Okie?

I have provided a list of the FLs of the forums I assist in below. These are the people you should PM if you want your topics approved.

Yeah, I've been doing that a lot lately. But I just want to discuss one of the many things I have swirling around in my mess of a mind.

I'm thinking about getting my ears gauged.

Nothing too big, though. Those are ridiculous looking.

I haven't decided if I really want to do it yet, because I haven't found something specific that I like.

    What say you guys?

It just overcame me. I danced around the house for a song, and then a whole album (well, EP).

Tell me I'm not the only one who does this?

Like most living things on this planet, we have the ability to think. It's something that you simply must do in order to survive. But thinking too much... that can also be deadly.

I think. A lot. More then what's healthy, that I know for sure. I set time aside every day just to ponder something. Actually, I don't. It's something that just inevitably happens... I might as well set the time aside.

What I'm getting at is that when I think, the results are more often than not extremely ambivalent. There are times when I think about something, and it will just make my day. I'll start smiling and going off on overjoyous tangents. Other times, I'll think about something, and I find myself immediately depressed and possibly even on the verge of tears or wanting to smash my head through the wall. I can definitely say that I've experienced both sides of the spectrum.

And I'm not sure if it's really worth it.

But I can't help it. I also daydream, which I consider to be an unconscious form of thinking. You temporarily escape reality and substitute it with your own.

I get so caught up in thought that I rarely catch myself in the thought process.

Perhaps if I thought about catching myself in thought more often it would happen without thinking?

Thinking can be hazardous and detrimental to one's health; however, it can also be uplifting and inspirational. You'll teeter back and forth into both realms of thought. When the seesaw drops into the desolate and dreary realm of thought, push it back up to the limitless sky.

    Think about that.

Be a good member and report stuff and you'll be handsomely rewarded.

Be a bad member and cause trouble and you'll be severely punished.

I can do that now, yanno.

Thanks for the opportunity, Mr. Six, and congrats to Smeag as well.
