    But .png is.

As you know, we have this thing called the BBC Forum, which is run by BBC Empire. In this forum, members share their MOCs. Most of the time, a digital photograph of the MOC is provided. Now -- in order to get this photograph onto BZPower, you're going to have to save it to your computer in order to upload it. But what file extension do you use?

Most members choose to use the .jpg format. After all, it's the most commonly used file extension on the internet. However, there are some who choose to venture outside the world of .jpg. That jolly, merry place just wasn't their thing.

So they go and see the Devil -- .png.

Using .png as opposed to .jpg in photographic images does absolutely nothing but increase the filesize -- often five to ten times the size of the .jpg. To make it even worse, there is minimal gain in quality.

Back to the BBC Forum. When you use .png, less people view your MOCs. When you enter a BBC contest, you lose votes. Just because of the file extension and long load time of your entry picture. Not everyone has high-speed internet. I for one still use dial-up. Pity me.

In fact, the BBC contest staff have discussed banning .png images from the contests.

Use .jpg. Let the Devil be a Devil outside of the BBC Forum.

I recently started my own record label: Eclipsical Records.

We just put out our first release: White Arms of Athena - Astrodrama.

Help me out and order now so I can start pressing my second release! Let me know you're from BZP and I'll throw some freebies in with your order.

Ask me questions. I'm the mood.

    I might answer them.

    Or I might not.

But I more than most likely will.

    So, ask me some questions.

After nearly two entire months as Princess Peach, over 1,000 posts in hot pink with a wub smilie, and hundreds of PMs about it, I am finally back.

To be honest, I only have a faint memory on how this whole ordeal even began. The prankee making a typo on the abbreviation “gj” inspired the whole prank idea. That formed my member title, and the avatar, banner, and custom rank image were also formed. A little while before me, one of my fellow FAs was also pranked -- Than. For a week or so, there was a chaotic topic on our pranks, which eventually was spammed up to a point where closure was necessary. Shortly after that, our Matoran of Faux Topic Closing and the Village People was changed back to the Angry Matoran (I’m sorry to report that the Faux Closings do still spring up at times, you have to watch out). However, the Princess still stood tall and proud, just as pink and pretty as ever.

In between all this, another FA was pranked -- Redeemer. Unfortunately, he disregarded my warnings, and what I had left of his hair was thrown into the incinerator. Oh, and if you ever want an easy win at online golf, you know who to ask.

Shortly after that, Omi was united with his favorite fanny packs. At least somebody is enjoying his prank.

Oh, and speaking of Omi, it was all his fault that I had that disturbing banner. My apologies go out to anybody who received any injuries due to this image. I’m sure you might also be wondering about this “caress the server” thing, as it did also appear on the banner, but it’s an inside joke kinda thing that only Tufi and I will fully understand. Again, highly disturbing. Try and push the mental images out of your mind.

For the last several weeks, the PMs I had been receiving about the prank also started changing. It went from people asking about the prank, to people asking if I really was PP, asking my gender, asking if I was ever going to be changed back, asking if Kex had died... I mean, all kinds of things.

And now, alas, Kex is back. To a degree, you could say I “earned” it, but that’s nothing for you to worry about. Just be glad there isn’t a pink fool in the presence of your beloved BZPower. And remember, normalcy is overrated.

Yes, I hate Nintendo for making their Wi-Fi USB Connector SO RIDICULOUSLY HARD TO USE.

My DS refuses to connect to it. Anyone have any suggestions? Help?

    Ugh.

(if you help me I will show you my pokemans)

I dunno. I just dunno. I want to get one of them, but I don't know which. And no, both isn't an option. Now, if Santa would bring me that darned money tree that I've been asking for the last few years, then it wouldn't be a problem. Only thing is, Santa doesn't like me anymore... Apparently Dasher (or was is Prancer?) found something in the kitchen other than cookies and milk, and Santa wasn't all too happy about the present he got on his lap. But I really need to know...

Like most living things on this planet, we have the ability to think. It's something that you simply must do in order to survive. But thinking too much... that can also be deadly.

I think. A lot. More then what's healthy, that I know for sure. I set time aside every day just to ponder something. Actually, I don't. It's something that just inevitably happens... I might as well set the time aside.

What I'm getting at is that when I think, the results are more often than not extremely ambivalent. There are times when I think about something, and it will just make my day. I'll start smiling and going off on overjoyous tangents. Other times, I'll think about something, and I find myself immediately depressed and possibly even on the verge of tears or wanting to smash my head through the wall. I can definitely say that I've experienced both sides of the spectrum.

And I'm not sure if it's really worth it.

But I can't help it. I also daydream, which I consider to be an unconscious form of thinking. You temporarily escape reality and substitute it with your own.

I get so caught up in thought that I rarely catch myself in the thought process.

Perhaps if I thought about catching myself in thought more often it would happen without thinking?

Thinking can be hazardous and detrimental to one's health; however, it can also be uplifting and inspirational. You'll teeter back and forth into both realms of thought. When the seesaw drops into the desolate and dreary realm of thought, push it back up to the limitless sky.

    Think about that.

    Hey guys!

I recently started my own record label. Right now I could really use some help quickly editing an image. Photoshop skills would be needed. Send me a PM or email at eclipsicalrecords@gmail.com if you can help.

    Would REALLY appreciate it.

    Thank you.

Do any of you, the members of BZP, have suggestions for any of the following forums:

    BBC
    COT
    Sets

I'd be glad to hear them and see what I can do. You can PM me if you don't want to make your suggestion public.

After a recent turn of events in COT (not naming any names, and neither will you), I think it is finally time for this blog entry.

So a member makes a spam topic. What should I, as a BZPower citizen, do? How can I help?

    1. Report the topic.
    2. PM or IM an online staff member that can handle the situation.
    3. Reflect upon your good deed.

It is very important to also note that you should never post in a spam topic. Ever. Ever. That will do nothing but encourage others to post, and will only draw more attention to the topic and produce even more spam.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
