The Hobbit?

My thoughts on the film are... hard to describe. On one hand, I feel that Jackson has done a good job capturing some of the feel of Middle Earth, while establishing his own version of the world. I feel the strangest thing about the new Hobbit trio is the fact that Jackson is going overboard on the most simplistic book in the universe, while he was quiet sparse in his filming of the three "travelouge", heavily described main novels.

Could you imagine...

Could you imagine him filimg the Silmarillion? If the rights for the novel were somehow, miraculously, collected, all I can picture is a trio of trilogies.
