  1. Eh, I've only really played the GBA version. I hear the DS version is actually pretty legit. The PC/console versions though, are apparently super easy. Ha, reminds me of that video of this guy playing through the game. He had a hard time pronouncing the words, so Hewkii became Heekee, Jaller became Jailer etc.

  2. Same as they were in the movies, except for Jaller. He was awful. I honestly think he sould have sounded he did in the mahri mini movie. Oh, an in my head, Axonn sounds like 7mr7random7's voice for him in The chronicles of Jaller. the guy who narrates the commercials shall do the voice for the insane great being.

  3. There were once two little lava rats who wished to cross a great chasm,” replied Velika. “All day and all night, one carried small sticks and pebbles to the hole and dropped them in. He hoped that someday the hole would be filled. His brother rat, being the wiser, wandered the barrens until he found a Kikanalo. Sympathizing with the plight of the rats, the Kikanalo used his great strength to knock down a tree, making a bridge over the chasm across which the rats could travel.”
Now, could this 'Wiser Rat' in the story be Velika himself? And could the brother who placed sticks in stones into the chasm be Angonce? If so, it could basicly be saying that Velika is annoyed by the fact that all the other BGs build giant robots and hunter destroyer thingies to accomplish straight-forward tasks. I could just be looking too far into this, though.
  4. And let's not forget the Kestora are cruel by nature. They have, at least in all of their few appearences, made many other beings' lives miserable. Be it dissecting The Red Star Zombies or killing all the City Building Creatures.

I know that the Karzahni and the Morbuzahk aren't up there because they are technically Makuta creations. And rahi aren't on the red star.
But what about he skittery noise Kopaka heard?
The sounds were coming closer now. Some sounded like rodents skittering, others like bodies being dragged across a metal floor. At one point, they saw a lighted corridor up ahead, but as they approached, the lights went off there too. Worse, the noises were starting to come from up ahead as well as behind.
  5. I know, I'm just letting my mind wander. Speaking of fan-fics, I got one with Lehvak-Kal hitting the Red Star after floating around in space. I had the Kestora smack-talk him, fix him up a bit and beam him down to Spherus Magna, heh.
Hm-Hm. Makes me imagine Velika on the verge of completing his evil plan, when suddenly Levak-Kal falls into the planet's atmosphere and lands on top of him. Vaporizing them both.

  6. 1. Get rid of those ugly brick-sized eyebrows on all the character's masks.2. Make Teridax not look like a radioactive robot devil with it's face smashed in.3. Have Greg Farshtey involved in the writing, even if it's only a little bit.4. get rid of Kiina's abnoxious voice.5. Let the crew know that THEY'RE CYBORGS. THEY HAVE ORGANIC ORGANS lolredundant AND MECHANICAL ARMOR.6. The Mata Nui chest-ripping awesomeness.7. Taka and Terry actually fighting.BTW, has anyone ever watched 'BIONICLES of Doom'?

  7. From what I've gathered, it's expensive to make GITD parts......It might be a cool gimmick, but LEGO must have figured out it wasn't adding anything to the sales - at least, not enough to offset the cost of production.
Ah.. gotcha.Although, the Inika are the perfect sets to have GITD-whatever applied to their eyes. It's mentioned in the story, on the canisters, etc, and yet they lack it. :???:Instead, the Piraka get it in the form of glow in the dark teeth. What was TLG thinking? It's just...so goofy looking.
  8. Getting my first toa set; Hahli Mahri. It was either her or Matoro, 'cuz he got some serious clawz and she's got some awesome angel wings. What's funny is I didn't know jack about BIONICLE back then. Everything I actually did know came from Mask of Light and those weird pamphlets that came with the Tohunga sets.I thought "Jala" and "Toa Jaller" where two different individuals! I was really surprised when I found out the truth. (I always thought it was weird they had such similar names)I can almost remember the days when I would have the Hahli set, which I thought was a male at the time, swim around and fight/study weird 'sea creatures'. Sometimes I wish I hadn't learned that much about the story, so that playing with these things would still be as enjoyable as they used to.The closest thing I've gotten to that in recent memory was when I stumbled across some Star Trek toys last year. Since even now I know absolutely nothing about it except for the names of the really famous characters...I had a field day...One of the most memorable was that freaky-looking dude from Deep Space 9. He became Lord Butthead of the planet Butthead. And he would brainwash people using the Staff of Butthead. His arch-nemesis was Kirk (Or was it Spok?), Who was a half-elf-half-monkey cyborg.Oh, and Scrat from Ice Age was there too for some reason. And I'm not even in to crude humor, that dude was just asking for it with a head like that.

  9. Well today I did an experiment where I took some translucent GITD paint and applied it to the 'eyes' of an Av-Matoran head. And it was quite succesful, with little to no difference between a normal piece and a 'modded' one when it came to passing through bright lights. Not to mention, the glow effect that occured when in low-light conditions really added to the coolness of the little guy.Am I the only one who finds it puzzling how TLG didn't really go very deep into the usage of glowing pieces? Although, the few times they did use them, they usually fit quite well.I'm just wondering, why didn't they use GITD pieces for eyes? Was it too expensive, or was it not possible to make a transparent, light-emmiting, hard plastic? I'm not exactly an expert on this kind of stuff.

  10. What do you think the Bahrag will do now that their destiny is complete?Personally, I think they'll rent out the Bohrok swarms for use in construction and whatever else. (Unless of course, the Bohrok are hard-wired to do nothing but clean Mata Nui's face up. In that case, I think they'll just go to sleep)Or, they could just do what they did to the Kal to all the other Bohrok and make them... less... dumb I guess.

  11. Least favorite set? Probably any of the vehicles. I mean, unless they have wheels all you can do with them is carry them around and make airplane sounds and try to ram any sets that get in the way. (Looking like a fool in the process :glare: )Hewkii's shoulder blades can get annoying too despite looking awesome. And I don't actually own him, but I hear Nuparu Mahri is a bland little stick monkey with probably the dullest color scheme on any set in the Bionicle theme. Just look at him!

  12. Pahrak.I already really like the bohrok and Pahrak was the least gaudy out of all of them (Besides Nuvok) so I was really drawn to it.The McToran are pretty beast too.(And maniacly adorable) They're like little disk throwing plastic kittens!

  13. Most of any green BIONICLE set seems to disappear from me. Of the circumstances, I don't know where my Lewa Nuva is, Turaga Matau, Toa Matau Metru, or Zaktann. It's odd...

They must be camoflouged.I once had an entire Pahrok dissappear fo about a week before It was finally found. It was hiding under my bed the whole entire time. Which is weird since I could have sworn I had already looked there. EDIT: I also lost the thruster part to Toa Ignika's Skyboard. I don't know how that's evel possible. Oh, and Kopaka Nuva's shield too.
  14. Makuta's head falling off. And once I had just bought a Rahaga, and was opening it in the car (yes, I was impatient) and a piece fell between the seats. I tried to get it, but couldn't. I looked back into the bag of pieces, and it was there. Weird.

Same thing here. Just with Hali Mahri.I was lucky not to actually lose anything. Being in a car at night and having only a few seconds to look at the building instructions before we comepletely pass by the only source of light in miles ( A street lamp) is NOT a good Lego building environment.
