  1.

I think more Toa needed to have staff weapons. We got enough swords, shields and claw-variants. All the staff fan really got were the Hagah, and that was only two.

Really? We have Turaga staffs, Rahkshi staffs, Rahaga staffs, Takanuva's staff of light and Twin light staffs, and even Vahki staffs. Bionicle has staff overload.

Toa that have had staff weapons: Two Toa Hagah (presumably the others too, but we never saw them as sets) and Takanuva. That's 3 (sets). Turaga and rahaga do not count, as they are no longer Toa. Rahkshi and Vahki most certainly aren't Toa, so more Toa wielding staves would be welcome from my perspective.

Staves, it appears, are enemy weapons. Rahkshi and Vahki both played an antagonistic role. The turaga have walking sticks or badges of office, not weapons. Finally, the rahaga's staves may count, but they weren't Toa at that point.

Yes, but if you give staffs to nearly everything that walks that isn't a Toa (ever Matoran have kohlii staffs :P), giving Toa staffs doesn't really make that much sense. To have a greater variety of weaponry, it would make sense for the Toa to have any weapon but staffs. :shrugs:

Also for the record The Hagah have spears not staffs

  2. Actually, according to what I've read:

Akaku (Mask of X-Ray Vision): Regeneration + Teleport

Miru (Mask of Levitation): Teleport + Weaken

Source is Biosector01. Maybe you misread or your source of this info made a mistake? I don't think there any masks that use the same Kanoka combination.

Thanks that makes a lot more sense It was just I read a post by Bonesii (i believe) that had a chart of known disk combos

  3. The main reason canon matters in ANY story is that it is a shared experience. You can create your own headcanons about ANY series, but they won't necessarily be agreed upon by other fans, who might have their own headcanons. The actual canon, on the other hand, is the same for everyone. It makes up the core upon which all headcanons are based. All the media in a series (books, movies, etc.) will be based on that canon, and the actual canon is more often than not what will draw in fans.

Hero Factory was basically designed to be open to all manner of headcanon, establishing a boundless universe with room for any number of original characters from the get-go. But its story never really became as popular as Bionicle's, because the actual, core canon (especially as represented by the TV episodes) was weaker. Plenty of fans created their own headcanons to try to make up for that, but that resulted in a story that fans couldn't agree on or relate to on the same level as Bionicle.

IMO This is where lego made the biggest mistake with HF people loved bionicle simply becaue It had a story that was laid out one that you could build on but at its core bionicle was based upon the story(Aside from the $)

  4. I Just looked at chart of disks used to make mask and I noticed the X-ray, and Levitation both use Teleport+Weaken disks I am wondering if it is the order in which disks are combined or the amount, or other that is the reason they use same disks to different effect?

    If already asked I apologize

  5. hey i had the idea to start talking about my idea for a new toa rank.

The ult toa, Toa nuva who rego through energized protodermis. Can control all elements but have as much strength using the a regular toa, and have 5% less EE, and can use the Kanohi Kanohi or mask of masks which switchs to any mask you know of.

then ult toa nuva same but nuva. EE is 10% less the normal toa. Of course in my mind these would be prototypes of toa that were held on spherus magna then released after the reforming. and then toa nuva(Tahu too) were changed into these by Ignika.

what do you think and do yo have any 'classes' you created or elements for that matter.

I have another idea the mask of faith it makes all who you come in contact with trust you and belive in you.

Wouldn't that be like the Mask of Charisma?

not exactly the mask of charisma makes people follow you but this lets your allies and the "neutral" people follow and trust you and they will do things they would not normally do but it is useless against your enemies. Think of the Huna, and the Voltick or the Rura and the Akaku.

  7. I have another idea the mask of faith it makes all who you come in contact with trust you and belive in you.

Now that I look back at it, this is kind of a 'post-it-here' topic. I mean, it's good if you're contributing your own ideas to the discussion, but a thread where you'er just saying "keep posting here", in a sense, wouldn't really be allowed, as far as I know...

    sorry pretty new here
