I recently bought a hydraxon from mask collector when he was on the quest for the platinum Avohkii, no w I decided it's about time to do a review on 'em. I think Hydraxon was not as complicated to build as I expected. however it wasn't easy to build either. Once he was built he had two little things on his back, and if those were not perfectly aligned it would drive me insane. Also his arms are very heavy so sometimes when you hold them up, they fall right back down. The legs have poles on the back of them, these poles can move but it limits his maneuverability. Once he's built he looks really cool and there is a one in a million chance of parts falling off. So that is my review in total I'd give it a 8.5 outta 10.

Two things. One I've already beat that game, I did it several months ago. Two, when you are trying to find the matoran to defend kini nui get every matoran but onepu. If you get onepu it blacks out and you have to reload the page. so skip that chapter of the game!

Today when I was replying to a topic I saw the option for Bbcode, but I've got no Idea what that is! It looks cool though!

So lately I've been wondering, the real hydraxon when he died went to the red star.(thank you bonesiii) But if dekar-hydraxon were to die would he go to the red star as dekar or hydraxon, honestly I think hydraxon because no one will ever be able to retrieve dekar's real memories because hydraxon being in the order of mata nui his mind would be trained to withstand any attempt to intrude his mind, so therefor he might go to the red star as dekar but still think he's hydraxon!

If it took up the entire coliseum than it would probably be a few thousand, but think of how many that would've been killed on those raids to try to take over the dark hunter island or in general!

So something has bin in my head for a while and I thought I'd discus it with you guys. Well we all know that when Spherus Magna did what ever it did and another planet shot out from each of the sides of Spherus Magna. Which were later named Aqua Magna ( home to Vakama, Takua, Makuta etc) but what is on the other one: Bota Magna? I'm just gonna put it out there, I think Hero factory live on Bota Magna! In which case that would mean that somehow Bionicles are related to hero factory!

When I bought a Hydraxon it was at my house in 9 days, and when I got it it came fully assembled with instructions inside a bag with a spongy substance all around it, so it was in great care. Also it was in pretty much mint condition with only a bit of rough plastic on the mask. I would DEFINITELY buy something else from Mask collector and so should you.... WOO!!

Personally I think that either Nuju hordika or Irnakk should be made into titans. Yes, Irnakk is considered a Bionicle Titan but, I mean come on the Lego group could have done so much better!

I voted for #seven I liked it's "dark hunter" type look. Also how would you get these in the contest anyways?

Does anyone know how lame hero factory is, well I do. I mean take a look at the story behind it: We are robots who fight evil, oh no new and more powerful evil has come, let's make ourselves bigger but not much more powerful to fight the evil! We got him, oh no more evil, hey this time let's have an animal theme. Even though hero factory is Lego I still find it to be a total Bionicle knock- off. So I will not purposely go out and buy a Hero factory. I've gotten some as gifts but that was before I had this opinion of hero factory!

It seems like you're too used to Bionicle to recognize the merits of different kinds of stories.

 

Bionicle was, for the most part, an epic. Every story fed directly into the next one, and they all worked toward the final showdown between Makuta and Mata Nui. That was awesome.

 

But Hero Factory, for the most part, is a sci-fi police procedural. As such, each story is largely independent of others. This allows fans to jump on at any point, and also makes it easier for them to tell their own unconnected stories with characters of their own devising. It's certainly a different kind of storytelling, but is it worse? Oftentimes, yes, but that's not because of the story it's telling so much as the way the story is told (the Hero Factory TV episodes have a nasty habit of ignoring previous plotlines and character development).

 

As far as being a "Bionicle knock-off", it's not, at least, not any more than Bionicle was a Slizers/Throwbots knock-off. Occasionally they use similar sci-fi tropes, but in the story and especially in the sets, Hero Factory is very much its own thing. Speaking of story and sets, this topic has little to do with the sets from first appearance, so if it's going to go on it should probably be moved to the "Lego Discussion" forum, where discussion of the stories of non-Bionicle Lego themes belongs. Well, let's see when you said hero factory is easy to get onto and Bionicle wasn't I can prove you wrong. I started on the Bionicle series In 2008 and now I am like a semi scholar at Bionicle. So there! Also you can come up with way more fan made Bionicle sories, I mean so far I wrote 12 Bionicle shorts, and with Bionicle's extended story line there are so many different tales that you can ad onto, write what happened before that or tweak it here and there to make your own story!
