I own two NYCC Clear Tahu masks and it's actually a really cool mask. It's similar to the original but with a nice upgraded feel.

Anyone else feel like Lewas new mask looks rather reptilian? Not that that's a bad thing.
Now , it may just be me, but I think that the Jungle Mask looks like all of the Miru's combined into one. The overall shape reminds me of the 01, the eyes 02, and the vents 08.

Has anyone started seeing the new Bonkles actually show up in stores? Before I make it known that's what people can get me for Christmas I want to make sure there's a tangible retailer to buy them from.

I'd actually love an online or mobile adventure game that is NOT combat-intensive. But that's partly because of the fact that that's just the type of game I like to play. Mata Nui Online Game, the Professor Layton series, and the Ace Attorney series are all good examples of the games I enjoy — games that tell an interesting character-driven story, but depend more on observation and decision-making than on strategy or split-second reaction time.
However, it wouldn't surprise me if whatever games we get tend to be more action-based than those examples I prefer. After all, BIONICLE sets are action figures and they are designed to do battle. A game can be fun and fit the BIONICLE universe without focusing on that aspect, but it might not deliver a full, well-rounded BIONICLE gaming experience.
While I would love a game like that as well, as you have said Bionicle is definitely action-based and I feel like a game would need action to really sell that point. And if it would have action, then I would like it to be very refined (like Platinum Games refined).

I think something like the HF Breakout game could be good for Okoto - you start in the Underground Mountain place and visit each of the Regions of Okoto. But I'm biased, because I enjoyed the HF breakout game. But I would want the game to be more story driven - maybe stories for each region to claim the golden masks and then a big fight with all six Toa for the Mask of Creation?
From what I understand of BioShock though, I think it would be good for a legit intro. You start as a character who is crashing down from the sky...
There were a lot of problems with Hero Factory, but that Breakout Game was awesome.

All I ask for, really, is a villain that actually feels like a threat. It keeps me excited and what not.
I want something that's scary. I want something that will make the Toa terrified. I want something that can crush lives by using a small fraction of its power.
Don't know if you follow Legends of Chima (I stopped several episodes ago, the show was becoming unwatchable) but whenever the villain for the year appears, the heroes each scream their incredibly annoying screams. (Especially Eris)

Well, I saw the Lord of Skull Spiders review and I was somewhat underwhelmed, at least compared to Omega Tahu, Kopaka, and Onua, not a bad set but still...
As a completionist I'll get this anyhow. As soon as I found out BIONICLE was ending I got all the sets still on the shelves that I could afford that I didn't already have: The STARS, Vastus, two of the 2009 vehicles, I was even able to find Vultraz and Jetrax T6...
Anyway, I'm going to try to make the most out of Gen 2, and buy all the sets I can afford, including this one and the rest of wave 1 at least.

I wonder if the old announcer for the commercials- Tony Wedgeworth was his name, I think- will be returning.
I read somewhere that was him in The Legend Animation. Sounds a bit different, but similar enough it could be him. Just what I heard.

Several Hero Factory sets (from this wave) have been labled Retiring soon on LEGO.com (and all of the Brain Attack sets are sold out). Could they be making way for a December released of BIONICLE?

They didn't outright say no. They said more than likely no. Besides, plans can change at any time.

Whether Greg is the main writer of Bionicle 2015 or not, he will find some way to sneak Vezon into it. Mark my words...
I could see this background for Vezon:
"Powerful but insane, Vezon is a mysterious being hailing from another dimension. Constantly falling through Parallel universes, Vezon seeks the Mask of Ultimate Power (or whatever mask of that time) to gain control of his mysterious power in order to take over the Island of Okoto! Wearing the Mask of Dimensional Gates, he is quite terrifying (something like that)"

I'm sure it's either an easter egg or just random planets. I highly doubt Lego would go that same route again. Plus having multiple planets visible in the sky is a recurring element in many pieces of science fiction. It's nothing specific to Bionicle.
Well, if the rumors of the Vahi soft reboot thing are true (which I personally would love) they could very well be Alternate versions of Bara and Bota Magna. However, they did say BIONICLE was confirmed for 3 more years. Consider this possibility:
2015 is the search for the Mask of Creation
2016 is the search for the Mask of Control
2017 is the search for the Mask of Ultimate Power.
That could just mean they have the first three years nailed down. In 2018 the Toa could journey to another planet, maybe meeting another alternate universe character. Just my hope/speculation.

Onwards and Upwards: My pseudo-BIONICLE fan film

Some context: I'm the guy who made the BIONICLE: What Really Happened videos that satirized G2 a couple years back. I said to those who were asking that I was probably never going to make another BIONICLE-related film, but now that (I've sort of) done that I figured I would share it with the community.
This film is primarily live action, but one of the protagonists is a CCBS figure composited into that live action world. I've never seen this sort of hybrid attempted in a low-budget fan film before, so hopefully it works. I was careful not to market this project as a BIONICLE story since the character in question is very much a toy and the story is not set in universe, but I thought you guys might enjoy!
