  1. Well, this debate has gone well. I put my idea on the table, and now on Tumblr I have been called out as a racist, said that I had a 100% ###### oppinion, simply because I made the rhetorical statement of saying that if there was an equal amount of males and females in Bionicle, we should have an equal amount of Black and White characters, to show that biomechanical creatures are in fact not human, and there are a lot of factors involved in representation since this is a toyline after all.

Great to know the community is great in BZPower.

  2. Nonono, this is why you MUST get on it.

Don't you see how they have definitely taken this down BECAUSE of our reactions across the internet? If it truly was a mistake, and they announce it as such, then we have lost some faith in this. However, if LEGO try their best at hiding it, then this is further more coal to add to the fire.

The Matoran stared for a second at this friendly traveler. Who was he? Why was he here? Why did he want to help such a peculiar person in a peculiar place? So many questions raced through his head. He tried to remember . . . a name. What was it? He stuttered and stammered before finally answering.

    "I . . . am Mahluk. Onu-Matoran."

  4. Okay, I am fully 100% certain that BIONICLE is back. There is no way in. . . . (they censor (the opposite of heaven)? I don't regard that as a curse word, to be honest) that you put a "coming soon" page on a line that'd been dead for almost 5 years now.

Unless somebody has any better of an explanation for this, I'm going to grab my Pike and speed after the Hype Train before it breaks the light barrier and destroys the Universe with its speed.

The small, cold Matoran was scared at first. It was the first time he had heard anyone speak for such a long while. Worried, he turned to the three figures and began to growl like an animal, but quickly came to his senses and took the offer of Icha's hand. Gathering all his strength he uttered his first words in so many years.

    "Who . . . are you?"

  6. It isn't BIONICLE's job to be 100% equal and teach kids to be 100% nice and fair.

Should we have black and white Bionicle's so we don't upset any different groups?

Should we have Bionicle's with brown eyes because we don't want to upset people with brown eyes?

The problem is true "equality" will never be achieved, but I see your point.

The reason Ga-Matoran are one gender I do not know, but it makes things a bit easier to understand. Yes, Bionicle is stereotypical, but that comes along with a toyline. It makes things easier to understand. "Oh, Gresh is a green one so that means he is an adventurous type."

Sexism and prejudice and segregation exist everywhere if we take enough time to look at it.

The GBs based the Matoran on the organic beings in Spherus Magna I believe, which is also the reason why "romantic relationships" could happen. I suppose the genders work a similar way.

  7. As a frequent watcher of TTV's videos I have to say they've been keeping me updated on what's been going on with this "rumour" (which has become more of an unconfirmed conformation) and I have genuinely enjoyed listening to their speculation.

There's no reason the Minecraft box would be unnamed, since they already revealed it as a line. So let's just hope it is the moment we've all been waiting for.

  8. I suppose Protodermis is a bit similar to mercury, in how it can be liquidised, is a metal, and is quite dense. If I remember my lore it was an already-occurring element on Spherus Magna, and the GBs decided to use in in the MU because it was a sufficient substance.

He smelt it, the smell of snow. That's all he could smell. Or feel.

The blizzards felt like a thousand needles piercing his skin. It had been so long since he felt this feeling, and although it singed, it felt so relaxing. It was surprising he didn't just fall to the snow on the ground and fall asleep in this heavenly atmosphere.

But this wasn't the time. The Matoran had a family to find, a home to rediscover, a life to save; his. Although it had been many years since he last set foot in Ko-Koro there were distant memories of his time here. He knew that the cold would do serious damage to him if he didn't get to some form of shelter soon.

It was awfully lonely out there, in the blizzards. For the first time in so long, he felt afraid and alone. It gave him memories of a time long before, looking for something old and broken . . .

The snow beneath him gave way suddenly, causing the Onu-Matoran to crash and tumble down a steep slope. Falling back on the white ash, he felt mostly fine. All of the avalanches and landslides while with his family had made him more aware when the ground was weak. Why did he fall just then? What was distracting him?

Walking onwards in the Drifts, he came to some sort of drop. When, or if, the blizzards ever cleared, maybe he could get a good sight of where he was. Digging up the snow in hope to find some sort of solid ground he could sleep on, he let out some-sort of roar, hoping that somebody would hear.
