  1. I would probably want LEGO to incorporate more technic parts into the sets, and to make the toa look less bulky. I know a lot of people might disagree with me on the second part, but when the new sets first launched, I was honestly kind of turned off by how much bulk there was (in some cases it even limited movement). I've always liked how the toas' body structure used to be very rookie-esque.

  2. Stationed at the north pole is a large, black, pyramid shaped building with a large, singular, eye carved into the side, inside of this building, there exist "little velociraptors in elf costumes," that run around the place building toys, near the back of the pyramid, there is a lizard monster, who goes around, once a year, delivering these toys to the people of the world while wearing a human mask, beneath the pyramid, is a jail-cell, housed in which, are the "Naughty children," of the world, this, my friends, is the true story of Hitler's death, it was at the hands of the illuminati lizard monster more commonly known as Santa Clause.

    More like Satan Claus, amirite?

  3. I personally think that the Protectors should have totally new names, but they should still be somewhat Bionicle-esque like the six Toa (or masters, whatever). Since all of the original Toa's names were reused, I can understand why someone would want the Turaga's names to be reused for the Protectors, but that would just be too much in my opinion. A reboot should be new, and albeit I like how LEGO is still paying some homage to old Bionicle fans, I'd rather that new and interesting names be created, not recycled.

  4. [EDITED]

    Hello,

I'm not sure if anyone else had heard about this but recently Nathan Furst, a previous composer for the three original Bionicle movie, uploaded two videos titled "In a Bionicle mood tonight (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC_2VWV4pnI)" and "Original Title Score - "Story of Bionicle / Discovering the Mask of Light (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz3yfFpG7o8)", both of which I found quite nostalgic to listen to, if you wish to listen to them yourself.

My question for all of you reading this is, what do you think the chances are that Nathan Furst will come back to record more musical compositions for Bionicle, and/or would you like it if he did? I'm not sure how likely that would be, but I think it would be nice for the children of the Okotoverse to experience the same emotions that we experienced as small/not-so-small children as an effect of Nathan Furst's compositions.

Feel free to stray off topic as long as it still has something to do with Nathan Furst.

  5. Well I don't know if anybody mentioned this but for every episode on bionicle.com, there's a hidden framing of a Kanohi Vahi that the animators leave for old Bionicle fans to find. I doubt that they're going to bring the Vahi back, but I just thought that was a cool easter egg and something to think about. If I had to choose some character from the Mataverse to appear in the Okotoverse, I would probably choose the Elemental Lords (more than one character, I know) just because I remember reading "Legends of Bara Magna" and looking at the illustrations for the Elemental Lords and thinking, "Wow, if Bionicle hadn't ended, we would have gotten sets that look like these."

  6. I loved the voice actor when he only narrated, but now it seems sort of odd to me that he's voicing all of the characters in the online videos as well now. It probably could have been better if he stilled narrated, but made it like a storybook of some sort.

  7. I saw the stud launcher on the box for the Jungle Protector, and I didn't know that it actually shot suds. I thought it was just CGI to make it look like studs were being shot xD. Just makes me so much more hype for these new sets.

I'm honestly not really a fan of the overall bulkiness of the new Toa. I always imagined Kopaka as a sort of wise and introverted type of Toa, not the "LiFtIn WeIgHtS eVeRyDaY BrOoOOoo" kind lol.

Kopaka's design doesn't look at all like that stereotype. He doesn't look muscular to me, he looks armored and bundled up, traits which I think really suit a cold character with a guarded, reserved personality. On some levels, it's an extension of the way he has always carried a shield. It's a way of showing how he keeps the rest of the world at a distance.

I see your point but it would still be pretty nice if he had a neck lol.

  9. I don't know WHAT Lego was thinking when they designed Kazi, but something tells me there was way too much protodermis in the office, if you know what I mean.
